The 2024 Aspen X Games began on Friday, Jan. 26 with a bang, with Olympians Scotty James and Chloe Kim each cementing their superstar status on the SuperPipe with gold medals, and continued on Saturday, Jan. 27 with records being broken left and right.
Chloe Kim and her record-breaking cab 1260 (the first in women’s snowboard SuperPipe history) wasn’t the only history-making moment on those first two days of competition.

LeBron James doesn’t have any time to waste. The Los Angeles Lakers star recently turned 39 years old, and is getting near the end of his historically great career. James is still performing at an All-Star level in Year 21, but at this point, each passing season counts as James’ best chance to get championship ring No. 5. If he’s not happy, he’s going to let the whole world know about it.

The Seattle Seahawks are set to hire Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Mike MacDonald as their new head coach. The deal is expected to be finalized soon, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
MacDonald’s Ravens defense allowed the fewest total points (280) and points per game (16.5) in the NFL this season. Baltimore also ranked fifth in the league in total pass yards (3,263) and pass yards per game (191.9) allowed.
MacDonald, 36, becomes the youngest head coach in the NFL, taking that title from the New England Patriots’ Jerod Mayo, who’s 37 years old.
The Kansas City Chiefs punched a ticket to their second straight Super Bowl with a 17–10 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, and Inside the NFL captured the locker room celebration in the wake of the victory.
