The Michigan Wolverines have a chance to prove they are truly the leaders and best by taking the low-hanging fruit option and hiring Sherrone Moore to replace Jim Harbaugh. Moore was Michigan’s interim head coach four times during the 2023 season while Harbaugh was serving two separate suspensions.
Moore also allows Michigan to stem the tide of the coming portal exits. NCAA rules allow for any player on a team that has lost its coach to enter the transfer portal for 30 days.

“Beleaguered” is probably the best word to describe how Milwaukee Bucks general manager Jon Horst looked on Wednesday, and after the last 24 hours you could understand why. A little more than six months ago the top Bucks executive wore a wide smile when he introduced Adrian Griffin as Milwaukee’s new head coach. After 43 games, Horst sounded disappointed explaining to the same group of reporters why he had to fire him.
“It’s our job to constantly evaluate and to learn and listen and just continue to figure out how to improve this team,” Horst said.

Jim Harbaugh was announced as the new coach of the Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday, having agreed to a deal with the organization following nine seasons with the Michigan Wolverines.
The university bid farewell to their longtime football coach with an emotional tribute video, highlighting some of his best moments and thanking him for all he accomplished during his tenure with the program.
Harbaugh had been at Michigan since 2015, overseeing 114 games with the program and recording a .781 winning percentage.

The Florida Panthers and Arizona Coyotes’ last meeting was not a friendly one, so it came as no big surprise that tensions were high when they squared off again on Wednesday night. 
Panthers’ Ryan Lomberg and Yotes’ Jack McBain, neither of whom are usual participants in the face-off circle, met at center ice for puck drop on Wednesday, and it didn’t take long to see what their intentions were.
Right off the draw, Lomberg and McBain immediately dropped gloves and began to fight at center ice, not even leaving the face-off circle before starting to violently throw hands.

The Michigan Wolverines football coach fulfilled the manifest destiny that brought him back to his alma mater in 2015. He restored the Wolverines to prominence, and eventually to dominance. He finished with a flourish, defeating Ohio State three years in a row and winning the program’s first undisputed national championship since 1948.

Jim Harbaugh is officially returning to the NFL, as the veteran coach has agreed to become the new head coach for the Los Angeles Chargers. That means that the Harbaugh brothers will once again be coaching together in the NFL, and they won’t have to wait long to play each other.
In the 2024 seasons, the Chargers and Baltimore Ravens are scheduled to face off in Los Angeles at some point. While the schedule isn’t out yet, every NFL team already knows who their opponents will be next year.

Now, fans wait to see who Harbaugh’s replacement will be. Michigan’s offensive coordinator and offensive lineman coach Sherrone Moore stood out quickly as the frontrunner to take over as the Wolverines’ coach, and it sounds like one player agrees with the idea.
Zak Zinter, who was a 2023 unanimous All-American offensive lineman, made his opinion about Moore clearly known on X, formerly known as Twitter, shortly after the Harbaugh news dropped.

Alabama-Auburn is arguably the biggest and best rivalry in all of college football. But, the rivalry extends beyond just the football field. There’s no love lost between the two schools when it comes to basketball, either.
On Wednesday night, the two squads met for an SEC battle on the hardwood. Despite sporting just a 12-6 record, Alabama rates as quite a strong team this year.
However, Auburn rates slightly better and has a much better record to show for it. Entering Wednesday night, the Tigers were ranked No. 8 in the country and are 16-2.
