The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were eliminated from the playoffs on Sunday following a loss in the divisional round against the Detroit Lions, 31–23. 
Speaking to reporters after the game, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield was asked about his emotions in the aftermath of one of the most difficult defeats of his career. 
He didn’t mince words when discussing the brutal sting of the loss, having battled throughout all four quarters in Detroit.
“It sucks. I feel like my heart just got ripped out,” said Mayfield, via Sara Walsh of the NFL Network.

The PGA Tour season is just three weeks old but there may not be a more stunning win in 2024 than what transpired Sunday in La Quinta, Calif.
Nick Dunlap, a 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Alabama, won the American Express by a shot over Christiaan Bezuidenhout to become the first amateur winner on Tour since Phil Mickelson in 1991.

Jason Kelce is in Buffalo for his younger brother’s playoff matchup between the Chiefs and Bills and it sure looked like the Philadelphia Eagles center was having a good time before kickoff. 
In case you missed it, Jason Kelce hit the parking lots outside of Highmark Stadium and had some fun with Bills fans who were doing what Bills fans always do before home games—getting after it with their legendary tailgating traditions.

Chris Jones got the trash talking started early. 
Tempers were running high even before the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in the divisional round of the postseason on Sunday. 
Jones, the Chiefs star defensive tackle, was on the field for warmups and could be seen having words with Bills fans in the stands in a moment captured by cameras. 
The heated interaction, which saw Jones loudly yell “Y’all suck” at Bills fans, was shared by NFL Network reporter James Palmer to his account on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Fans at The American Express laid witness to history Sunday, as Dunlap pulled off a historic victory.
Nick Dunlap handled a PGA Tour Sunday pressure like a veteran.
With a six-foot par putt on the 18, the 20-year-old University of Alabama sophomore hit a perfect putt to win The American Express. Dunlap fired off a final round 70 to finish at 29-under and win by one shot over Christian Bezuidenhout.

It took all of one drive for the latest installment of the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs rivalry to go off the rails.
Actually, it arguably took just one play. Stefon Diggs fumbled on the game’s opening offensive snap, but the ball was illegally batted out of bounds by tight end Dalton Kincaid. It was arguably a turnover-saving penalty given the Chiefs defenders in the vicinity.

The Detroit Lions are back in the NFC championship for the first time since 1991 after taking down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Sunday’s divisional round clash, 31–23.
It was an emotional moment for the Lions and their fans, who have long been awaiting their franchise’s first-ever trip to the Super Bowl.
After the game, star edge rusher and Detroit native Aidan Hutchinson soaked in the scenes at Ford Field. The 23-year-old could be seen standing with a blank expression as he scanned the stadium, watching as Lions fans celebrated their longest playoff run in more than three decades.

Travis Kelce’s big brother, Jason Kelce, is also at the game in Buffalo since his season came to an end last Monday with the Eagles’ playoff loss to the Buccaneers. Jason Kelce also brought his wife, Kylie Kelce, which meant she was finally able to hang out with Swift at a game.
