Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe is returning for another season in Tuscaloosa, he announced on Tuesday, with his team preparing for the upcoming college football playoffs.
After leading his team to an SEC championship win over Georgia just two weeks ago, the quarterback has already decided on his future plans. Finishing sixth in the Heisman Trophy race should make him a favorite for the award in 2024.

Joe Flacco excelled in his first two games with the Browns, as the veteran went 1-1 with 565 passing yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. That was enough for Cleveland to officially sign Flacco to their active roster off the practice squad, and the team made sure to incentivize the quarterback’s deal to reward him should he continue to lead the Browns to victory.
As part of Flacco’s one-year deal, the veteran has the chance to earn $4.05 million based on winning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

Anthony Edwards has developed into one of the best players in the NBA and is regarded as one of it’s most elite scorers. The young Timberwolves star has no doubt in his own abilities to boot, and recently had some choice words for one of the game’s biggest names.

(Pending Caleb Williams’s call on playing in USC’s bowl game, but since that bowl is the Holiday Bowl … I’d guess his next game action comes next summer in the NFL’s preseason.

The San Francisco 49ers boast one of the league’s best offenses. As a team, that’s great. But, when it comes to individual awards, it can be difficult to award the credit. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan won’t endorse quarterback Brock Purdy or running back Christian McCaffrey for MVP over the other.
“Are you trying to get me in trouble with those two guys?” Shanahan said, according to ESPN. “That’s the only reason I wouldn’t overly comment on either one of them because I don’t want them to cancel each other out.
