If you’re a fan of college football there is a high chance, you’ve spent the last 16 seasons in deep jealousy of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Few have come close to matching what Bama’s done at any point under Nick Saban, and none have done it over the entirety of Saban’s run. But the rate at which the bubble on Alabama’s exceptionalism popped came about as swiftly as Saban’s retirement did last week.
Twenty-eight players (and counting) from the Tide’s two-deep have entered or reportedly intend to enter the transfer portal.

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud is the presumptive NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He is already among the best quarterbacks in the league after just 16 games as a pro. The Texans are two wins away from their first Super Bowl appearance due, in large part, to Stroud’s mastery at the position.
Stroud is rightfully front and center of the sports conversation. And so is his faith.
Stroud is synonymous with his devotion to Christianity. He wears his faith on both sleeves, thanking his Lord and Savior each time he speaks to the media.
Current UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland unloaded on a Canadian reporter in the lead-up to UFC 297, scheduled for Saturday night in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Strickland blasted the reporter, and all Canadians, for supporting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and pushing a transgender agenda.

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has a special bond with his 101-year-old grandmother, Lucky.
She has sometimes attended Kittle’s games, so reporters asked the tight end if she would be in the stadium for the 49ers’ NFC divisional round game vs. the Green Bay Packers on Saturday.
He wasn’t sure if Lucky would make an appearance, but one thing was for certain: he knows she’ll send him a text after the game, something she does each matchup.
“She always shoots me a text, like ‘Hey, good job,’” Kittle said, via 95.7 The Game.

As a candidate for NFL Coach of the Year, Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans has enjoyed a standout first season. And, with his team continuing to roll in the playoffs, even the ex-linebacker himself appears to be in the zone on the sidelines.
The franchise-altering synergy between Ryans, who played six of his 10 NFL seasons in Houston, and his team was perfectly summed up in a clip of the coach’s insightful exchange with second-year linebacker Christian Harris during Houston’s 45–14 wild-card win over the Cleveland Browns.

There are some great traditions in sports, and the Phoenix Suns may have seen the birth of one on Tuesday night.
However, the staff members tasked with sopping up dog urine are probably less than enthused about it.
On Tuesday, the Suns welcomed the Sacramento Kings to town. It was a big game, especially with both teams neck-and-neck right now in the Western Conference standings.
However, Phoenix was down 68-51 at halftime… but then something happened that turned the tide of the evening completely.
Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire subtly dropped in a TikTok recently the news that he’s currently in school to become a nurse.
This sparked interest in fans to want to know more about what led Edwards-Helaire to continue that process while still playing in the NFL.
Edwards-Helaire explained that his decision to go into nursing was inspired by the fact that his mother is a nurse. Also, his little sister was born with muscular dystrophy, so it’s a field he’s always been passionate to learn more about.
