Jon Rahm, the reigning Masters champion and two-time major winner, announced on Thursday he has officially left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf. It is a move sure to change the landscape of golf, with LIV players now owning seven of the previous 15 major championships won.
Numerous stars of the sport reacted in various ways. Brooks Koepka is understandably eager for Rahm to join.

Thom Brennaman spoke with OutKick’s Dan Dakich on Friday, and the former Cincinnati Reds broadcaster talked about what his life has been like since he infamously used a gay slur on live TV.
In 2020, Brennaman was on Fox Sports Ohio broadcasting a game for the Reds. Coming out of a break, he was heard on air describing an unspecified location as “one of the f** capitals of the world.” He later apologized on the broadcast, during a Nick Castellanos home run that has since turned into a popular internet meme. Brennaman was fired for the incident.

The tournament featured multiple phases, starting with group play games baked into the regular season, then quarterfinals matchups hosted at the higher seeds’ home arena, and concluding with the final four teams going to Las Vegas for the semifinals and championship.
