Brock Purdy and Tua Tagovailoa were selected to their first Pro Bowl as the starting quarterbacks for their respective conferences.

Clemson running back Will Shipley announced his intention to declare for the 2024 NFL draft on Wednesday via his social media accounts.
Shipley opened his letter by thanking Clemson, where he spent the last three seasons playing. 
“I have decided to enter my name into the 2024 NFL draft,” he wrote. “I am grateful for the last three years and am excited to see what the future holds! Although I am taking the next step of my journey, I will always be a Clemson Tiger!”

Ah, Week 18. The week that many players don’t participate as their team either clinched its playoff spot or is out. The Los Angeles Rams aren’t playing for much on the final weekend of the regular season. But rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua is playing for an NFL record.
Because of that, head coach Sean McVay says Nacua will suit up on Sunday. He’ll do so without teammates Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams and Cooper Kupp.
Los Angeles faces San Francisco, a team that has literally nothing to play for. The 49ers clinched the #1 seed in the NFC.

For the second straight year, the NFL is hosting the “Pro Bowl Games” competition, its replacement for the Pro Bowl as the league tries to breathe life into the event. This year, the games are moving to Orlando instead of Las Vegas, as Las Vegas is set to host the Super Bowl the following week.
The weekend will include skills competitions between the AFC and the NFC, culminating in a flag football game between the two sides for the final event. Team construction remains similar to the original event, though, and on Wednesday, the NFL revealed this year’s Pro Bowl rosters.

The Pro Bowl Games are back for 2024.
A year ago the NFL wildly altered the Pro Bowl format, shifting from an actual game to the “Pro Bowl Games” format, where players participated in a week-long series of events showcasing athleticism and skills in various contests, culminating in a flag football finale.
The 2023 version of the Pro Bowl Games were ultimately won by the NFC when Kirk Cousins engineered a comeback victory in the flag football finale.

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving faces new allegations of antisemitism following Monday’s game against the Utah Jazz.
Irving faces questions after a Utah-based rabbi accused Irving of demanding to have his pro-Jewish sign reprimanded by Utah’s arena security. The rabbi claims Kyrie allegedly made a complaint about the signage.
