Koepka’s performance at the PGA Championship was not his best and he knew it as the 4-time major winner expressed his distaste.
Brooks Koepka’s best score of the week at the 2024 PGA Championship came on Sunday in a 5-under 66. However, his finish was not up to his standard, and the LIV Golf captain did not want to speak with the media.
He finished 9-under overall in the tournament and is currently tied for 24th. Many would be happy with a finish like that, but not Koepka. He does not play for Top 25s.

After a strong Saturday, Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo endured a ‘frustrating’ Sunday in Imola
Following Friday’s pair of practice sessions, the team at Visa Cash App RB F1 Team believed getting both Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda into the third segment of Saturday’s qualifying session was an achievable goal. They did just that on Saturday, as both drivers started the Formula 1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix inside the top ten. That meant a new goal: Double points for the team.

NFL running back David Johnson, who played eight seasons from 2015-22 for the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans and New Orleans Saints, announced his retirement on Sunday.
He posted a lengthy message on his Instagram, along with pictures from throughout his football career.
“Who would have thought this kid would be the first pro athlete to come out of small town Clinton, IA,” Johnson wrote.
“I would not have been able to do any of this without God’s good grace! He did it all, so a kid who didn’t have much, was given a chance to do what most can’t.

Auburn Tigers running back Brian Battie was wounded in a shooting in Sarasota, Fla., on Saturday. His brother, 24-year-old Tommie Battie, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The responding deputies “observed a large crowd with multiple shooting victims in the parking lot” of a shopping plaza, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. The incident, which took place around 3:30 a.m., sent four others to the hospital, including the Tigers running back. Brian was listed in critical condition, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

Thanks to CNN another noteworthy event happened Friday involving Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker.
If you’ve read OutKick’s work over the past few days, you’ll know that we’ve covered a lot of reactions to the Kansas City Chiefs kicker’s speech at Benedictine College. You know, the one where he called out President Joe Biden, the LGBT agenda and implored men and women to be more committed to building families.
As you might expect, that speech has sparked a lot of conversation and reaction, some positive, some not so much.

On Friday morning, one of the craziest sports stories of the last decade unfolded as the world’s #1 golfer, Scottie Scheffler, was arrested by Louisville police on his way to play in the second round of the PGA Championship.
Scheffler said that the entire incident occurred due to a “misunderstanding.” Earlier Friday, a man was struck and killed by a shuttle bus en route to Valhalla Golf Club, the site of this weekend’s major tournament.

For the second year in a row, the New York Jets are scheduled for six prime-time games.
In 2023, the NFL anticipated widespread excitement and fanfare around the debut of Aaron Rodgers in NYC — so they packed the team’s schedule to get as many eyeballs as possible. Well, we know how that one turned out.
This season, the league wants a do-over. And the NFL is, once again, putting a whole lot of faith in Rodgers’ ability to draw ratings. But according to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, this schedule isn’t doing Jets players any favors.
