Rob Gronkowski was not impressed by Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons’ social media habits on Christmas Day.
Parsons was kicking it over the holidays after his team’s Christmas Eve loss to the Miami Dolphins and watching the most highly anticipated game of the weekend. That was, of course, Monday night’s matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers.
As we now know, given the lofty expectations, the game was a bit of a dud. One of the most notable poor performances belonged to Niners QB Brock Purdy. He managed to throw a grand total of four picks and no touchdowns.

Russell Wilson’s future with the Denver Broncos has for all practical matters been written. And there is little to no chance he’ll get a new chapter with the team next season.
That’s the only conclusion one can draw following the team’s benching of the star quarterback Wednesday morning.
Coach Sean Payton announced in a team meeting that Wilson was out of the lineup and would be replaced by backup Jarrett Stidham for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, a club source confirmed.
Wilson will be the team’s No. 2 quarterback.

Jaire Alexander made a bold decision that could have cost the Green Bay Packers a Week 16 win versus the Carolina Panthers. As a result, the team is suspending him for one game.
Alexander is being penalized for conduct detrimental to the team, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst announced on Wednesday. 
“The decision to suspend a player is never easy and not one we take lightly,” Gutekunst said in a statement. “Unfortunately, Jaire’s actions prior to the game in Carolina led us to take this step.

BATON ROUGE, La. – A hot rumor of late has Michigan trying to hire LSU coach Brian Kelly should coach Jim Harbaugh leave his scouting scandal-saddled Wolverines for the NFL … one step ahead of the NCAA sheriffs.
A website called sportskeeda recently listed three reasons why Kelly to Michigan is a perfect fit for Michigan. Major colleges love to hire a coach from another major college. It makes them look and feel as if they are better than the school from which they just took a coach.

The Denver Broncos appear set to move on from quarterback Russell Wilson, barring something major changing ahead of the 2024 NFL offseason. Denver will bench Wilson for the season’s final two games in favor of Jarrett Stidham, as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport detailed, signaling the expectation that a new face will likely be under center next season.
Following this news, the hot-button topic immediately became Wilson’s contract, as he signed a five-year, $245 million extension when landing with Denver.

It appears that the Russell Wilson era with the Denver Broncos is coming to an end after it has been reported that the team is sitting him in final two games of the season for contract reasons. In what can only be described as a complete failure, it’s as good a time as any to look back and review how much the franchise gave up to trade for the quarterback. 
In March 2022, the Seattle Seahawks traded their franchise signal-caller and a fourth-round pick in exchange for quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant and defensive tackle Shelby Harris.

The Denver Broncos are apparently looking to get out of the Russell Wilson business, as they will bench the quarterback for the final two games of the season due to contract reasons, per reports. 
Wilson’s time in the Mile High City could be coming to a close with the move, too, as the team will face a very pricey decision with the QB in the offseason and might just decide to part ways with him.
Wilson was acquired in a trade with the Seahawks before the 2022 season and his two years with the Broncos haven’t been what the franchise or its fans had hoped for.
