Hoping to eclipse the tremendous controversies hindering his young career, Morant showed up and out on Tuesday night against New Orleans: scoring 34 points and floating a game-winner as time expired.
Morant was nothing short of spectacular. The 24-year-old played through labored breath in the fourth quarter as he led a major comeback by the Grizzlies to win, 115-113.

On Tuesday night, Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant made his return to NBA action. Morant had not yet played this season as he was serving a 25-game suspension handed down by NBA commissioner Adam Silver after Morant was seen on Instagram  holding a firearm for the second time.
Morant decided to announce his return to the league with a stunner against the Pelicans.
Morant finished the night with 34 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. His biggest play of the night came on the final play of the game.

Ja Morant made his season debut on Tuesday night for the Memphis Grizzlies as he returned from a 25-game suspension for flashing a gun on social media. Morant and the Grizzlies faced the New Orleans Pelicans with a national TV audience on TNT waiting on the superstar point guard’s every move.
Morant delivered in the biggest way possible, hitting the game-winning shot at the buzzer as Memphis defeated the Pelicans, 115-113.
