Giants fans can stop checking under the bed for DeSean Jackson now that the longtime Eagles WR is officially retiring.
Playing himself up as one of the speediest wideouts of the 2010s NFL football, Jackson will finally hang up his cleats and retire as part of the Philadelphia Eagles, he announced on Wednesday.
“I’ll forever be an Eagle,” Jackson posted on X.

USC quarterback Caleb Williams can, and almost certainly will, declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. However, not ready to give up the spotlight on that decision, he hinted on Wednesday that he might not.
C’mon, Caleb. We see what you’re doing here.
Williams won the Heisman Trophy last year but failed to replicate the performance this season. The USC Trojans badly underperformed as a whole. Despite that, Williams projects as a Top 5 NFL Draft pick, likely Top 3, and possibly #1 overall.
Yet, he’s non-committal on officially declaring his intention to enter.

Will Levis is preparing to face the AFC South rival Colts on Sunday for the first time since taking over as the Titans‘ starting quarterback.
Heading into the 2023 NFL Draft, however, Levis believed he could’ve been on the other sideline.
“I thought there was a shot I would be going [to Indianapolis],” Levis told reporters Wednesday. “Kind of right up until that draft day, both Anthony [Richardson] and I were like, ‘Who’s it going to be? We don’t know.’
“I thought there was a good chance.

Aaron Rodgers’ return to Jets practice 79 days after he tore his Achilles tendon is a major milestone in the quarterback’s attempt to return this year.
One NFL fan in particular is thoroughly impressed by Rodgers’ ability to return to the football field this quickly after such a brutal injury. Lakers forward LeBron James praised Rodgers with a post on social media Wednesday after seeing a video of the quarterback throwing a football in Jets practice.
“Wow!!! Simply INCREDIBLE!!” James wrote.

Referee abuse has become a big part of soccer in recent years. Almost as much as faking injuries and hooliganism have. But some leagues are trying to change that. ‘With what?’ you may be asking. Well, they decided not to reinvent the wheel and have looked to implement a little something from the world of hockey: sin bins.
Players berating refs has gotten so bad that the International Football Advisory Board has approved some new rules.

Panthers quarterback Bryce Young spoke out about coach Frank Reich’s firing for the first time on Wednesday.
Young stayed relatively neutral when it came to questions about whether Reich’s firing was premature or needed. He did, however, admit that it wasn’t just Reich’s fault for the Panthers’ 1–10 record when he was asked if the coach let the offense down.
“We all take ownership, especially offensively,” Young said. “It’s all of us. We all look in the mirror. There’s all things we could do better. We all wanted to do better.

Oklahoma City Thunder’s Josh Giddey is at the focus of a police investigation in California, looking at online claims of dating a minor. However, the investigation is off to a rough start.
As of Wednesday, the Newport Beach Police Department relayed that the girl in question, and her family, decided to not cooperate. The department resorted to questioning the public and demanding any citizen to come forward with details on the allegations, according to KTLA5.

The golf world was dealt a tough blow last week with the news that Eddie “The Little Pro” Merrins passed away at the age of 91.
Merrins leaves behind a remarkable legacy both with what he accomplished on and off the golf course. He played professionally in over 200 PGA Tour events beginning in 1957. The iconic figure once held the course record at Medinah (66) at the Western Open.

One of the best players in the NHL right now is Jack Hughes of the New Jersey Devils and he was showing off his skills recently by launching a puck 50 yards through the MetLife Stadium uprights.
Hughes hit up the Giants and Jets stomping ground to shoot a video with Eli Manning and former Giants center Shaun O’Hara. This was all to promote the NHL Stadium Series which will take place at MetLife in February. Hughes’ Devils will take on the Philadelphia Flyers while the next day will feature a game between the New York Rangers and New York Islanders.

Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud has earned the right to celebrate this season.
A year removed from quarterbacking Ohio State to the College Football Playoff, Stroud is in the process of putting together one of the finest rookie campaigns in recent memory. Through 11 games, Stroud has thrown 19 touchdowns against just five interceptions as Houston has transformed into a legitimate playoff contender.
However, he may have gone a bridge too far during Sunday’s 24-21 loss to the Jaguars.
