ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter is making sure his next attempt at the Griddy, a popular dance, fares better than his first.
During a pregame show on ESPN before a Monday Night Football game between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears in 2022, Schefter attempted—emphasis on the word attempted—to hit the Griddy with Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who has made the dance his signature celebration, watching. 
Schefter later revealed he tore his meniscus, indicating that it was likely the attempted Griddy that caused his injury.

Florida running back Trevor Etienne is transferring to Georgia, he told On3 on Sunday.
The top-ranked running back in the transfer portal this offseason will join the Bulldogs after their 12–1 season. The Gators went 5–7 and failed to qualify for a bowl game this season. Georgia will play in the Orange Bowl against Florida State on Saturday.
Etienne led the Gators with eight rushing touchdowns in 2023 and ranked second on the team with 753 rushing yards. He also recorded 21 receptions for 172 yards with one touchdown catch this season.

The current New York Jets regime will get another opportunity in 2024. 
As the Jets finish what amounts to a lost 2023 campaign after entering the season with as much hope and optimism as they have in recent memory, questions have emerged about the job security of coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas. 
A Saturday report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport stated there was no indication of any major changes coming from Jets owner Woody Johnson in regard to the status of Saleh or Douglas. But on Sunday, the news came straight from the source.

Long snappers are often the forgotten players on NFL teams, but they play an important role, and the NFL monitors them the same as players at any other position.
Indeed, Buffalo Bills long snapper Reid Ferguson learned that the hard way after his team’s victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday night. Ferguson posted a picture on social media of the NFL’s written mandate that he submit to a drug test following the 24–22 Bills victory.
The 29-year-old Ferguson joked that the team’s “Buffalo vs. Everybody” mentality also includes the league itself.
