Some streaks are simply more impressive than others.
On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers improved to 9–7 on the season after upsetting the Seattle Seahawks, 30–23 at Lumen Field. The victory marked the 17th consecutive season that head coach Mike Tomlin has led the storied franchise to a non-losing record.
Legendary Dallas Cowboys coach Tom Landry owns the NFL record with 21 straight non-losing seasons (1965-1985).

Washington Commanders defensive back Christian Holmes suffered an injury that caused him to collapse on the field.
During the fourth quarter of today’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, Holmes provided run support on a rush from wide receiver Deebo Samuel. After getting blocked by Trent Williams, Holmes appeared to stand up just fine. He even struck up a conversation with 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams, his former teammate.
However, after briefly chatting with his old friend, the defensive back fell to the ground in pain.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown wasn’t happy with the team’s disastrous 35–31 loss to the Arizona Cardinals with heavy NFC postseason implications on the line in Week 17.
The Eagles led the Cardinals, 21–6, at halftime. However, Philadelphia went scoreless in the third quarter and the Cardinals outscored the Eagles 29–10 in the second half, including James Conner’s two-yard rushing touchdown to seal the victory for Arizona.
After the loss, Brown didn’t speak with reporters about what went wrong for Philadelphia in the game.

The NFL world is still abuzz about the controversial ending to the Dallas Cowboys victory over the Detroit Lions on Saturday night. Thus, Jim Nantz and Tony Romo — during Sunday’s broadcast of the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs — referenced the play.
The pair not-so-subtly joked about how easy it is for offensive linemen to report to the referees during a fourth-down play for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Cincinnati faced a fourth-and-1 deep in Chiefs territory in the middle of the third quarter.

In most MVP campaigns, there’s a moment when everyone agrees on the award winner. That moment came in Week 17 of the 2023 NFL regular season for any fair observers.
Lamar Jackson helped the Baltimore Ravens torch the Miami Dolphins, throwing for 321 yards and five touchdowns in a 56–19 blowout to clinch the AFC North and the conference’s top seed.
With that effort, Jackson now has thrown for 24 touchdowns.
