A win over the 49ers makes the case that the Vikings are a real threat in the NFC.
The Minnesota Vikings are 2-0. Yes, those Minnesota Vikings. You know, the team everyone predicted to finish last in the NFC North, the organization whose life was gone after Kirk Cousins left, who were going to have to punt on the season until J.J. McCarthy was ready to be the starter.
In two weeks full of surprises Minnesota might be the most stunning, and yet we also shouldn’t really be mystified by their start.

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders is getting crushed for his behavior after beating Colorado State.
The Buffaloes hammered the Rams 28-9 this past Saturday, and there was a little extra drama surrounding the game after old comments from CSU QB Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi resurfaced.
Prior to the season starting, Fowler-Nicolosi weighed in on the overtime thriller last year against CU, and stated the following:
“They came out with that attitude and thought it was going to be a cakewalk. They saw the reports, 27.5 points, or whatever it was, and they got a rude awakening real quick.

Cam Newton wasn’t impressed by Tyreek Hill’s behavior during his interaction with the police.
The Miami Dolphins star receiver was physically removed from his car and placed in handcuffs during a traffic stop before his week one game.
The incident and body camera footage have sparked massive debate in the sports world and broader media. Many have sided with Hill, who wants one officer fired.
Others have noted he was less than cooperative, and due to his tinted windows, he left the police with few options.

The second NFL Sunday of the season is in the books and boy there’s a lot of new information to digest. Andy Behrens joins Matt Harmon on the newly revamped recap show to breakdown every fantasy angle from all the action on Sunday. Harmon and Behrens reveal the games they care about the most, the games they sort of care about and the games that could have been an email.

Someone should check Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair for CTE … this man is taking unprovoked swings at Chicago Bears reserves.
Sunday Night Football began slowly between the Texans and the Chicago Bears, but the action intensified in the second half with a seriously heated exchange.
Things got chippy in the third quarter when Al-Shaair pushed Caleb Williams out of bounds on a scramble.
Bears players didn’t appreciate Al-Shaair’s push on Williams, demanding an unnecessary roughness penalty from the officials.
