“No. 7: Myles Garrett has not eaten a waffle in his life. “
Amazon Prime is hyped for the start of the NFL regular season and they’re commemorating the occasion with a food-filled graphic that truthfully makes very little sense.

I like the concept here. Everyone gathers for a pot luck and brings something from their home city. The issue is that after you take the quickest of glances there are very few things that actually make sense.

Here are our picks for Week 1!
NFL football is back, baby. Real, actual, non-vanilla preseason football — and we kick off with an absolute banger on Thursday night between the Chiefs and Ravens in what could be a preview of the AFC Championship game in four months’ time.
The story entering Week 1 is nervousness. A lot of fans around the NFL know this could be the make-or-break season for the status quos, with organizations like the Jets, Falcons, and Cowboys (among others) needing to really show out in 2024 in order to move forward with things as is.

It’s been 30 years since one of the most famous confrontations on sports television occurred when former Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints quarterback Jim Everett nearly brawled with sports host Jim Rome during his live television show.
And now, Everett told OutKick’s The Ricky Cobb Show earlier today that he had a proposal for Rome: ‘Let’s finally do that commercial together.

Chicago Cubs pitcher Shota Imanaga was so locked in on the mound against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night that he had no idea he hadn’t given up a single hit in seven innings of work. He did notice that manager Craig Counsell looked “worried” as he approached the mound to pull him from the game, but it wasn’t until moments later everything clicked.
The Cubs threw a combined no-hitter in their 12-0 win over the Pirates with Nate Pearson and Porter Hodge closing out the game with two perfect innings after Imanaga left the contest.

Former USC Trojans star running back Reggie Bush has already been welcomed back into the Trojan family after years of separation.
Bush received the return of his Heisman Trophy earlier in 2024, and as part of the campaign to restore the awards and titles he earned in his playing career, he was officially reunited with USC.
