The first FedEx Fall Cup event saw Patton Kizzire take home the Procore Championship. How much did he and the field take home?
Last week marked the first 2024 FedEx Cup Fall event at the Procore Championship in Napa, California.
Patton Kizzire took home the title and made more money than he did in his last 18 starts. He posted a final round 2-under 70 to win by five strokes at 20-under overall.
It marked his first win in six years and his third career PGA Tour victory.

Courtney Vandersloot, one of the greatest point guards in WNBA history, will be headed to Miami to play in the new professional 3×3 basketball league.
In an effort to allow WNBA players to stay in the U.S. during the offseason, Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier are launching Unrivaled Basketball League, a new 3×3 basketball league for the sport’s top stars. The league will take place in Miami starting in January, and will include six teams with five players each for a total of 30 players.

Shohei Ohtani is on the verge of one of the most impressive offensive seasons in MLB history
Unicorn. Superstar. Five-tool player. “Showtime.” Greatest of all time? Pick your nickname or adjective, it likely describes Shohei Ohtani.
One of Major League Baseball’s most electric players in over 100 years, Ohtani and the LA Dodgers are 88-61, leading the NL West by 3.5 games, and two games back of the Phillies for home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

A spot in Cooperstown may be unlikely, but Andrew McCutchen deserves praise for an outstanding run.
If I had to pick my favorite cliche statement in sports media, it’d be that father time is undefeated. Time and time again we see the decline of a once seemingly unstoppable athlete, as the miles start to pile on and they are simply not the same as they once were. In spite of all that, 37-year old Andrew McCutchen continues to prove his worth to the Pittsburgh Pirates, and why he might be one of the most underrated stars of his generation.

The Bears’ offensive line is a disaster, and Caleb Williams is paying the price.
Caleb Williams was expected to be the savior for the Chicago Bears when destiny delivered the team the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Williams had been preordained as a future franchise quarterback and purported ‘generational talent’ during his electric college career at USC, and he would have to work his magic for the team with perhaps the most pathetic QB history in the NFL.

Red Bull find themselves in unfamiliar territory in the Constructors’ Championship, and Christian Horner knows where it went awry
During the 2023 Formula 1 season, the RB19 was the dominant package on the grid. Red Bull’s challenger last year went into the record books as the most successful car in the sport’s history, as Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez combined to win 21 of the 22 Grands Prix last year, a new record.
This year, however, is a much different story.

Bo Nix didn’t need many words to describe a brutal interception Sunday against the Steelers.
The Broncos fell 13-6 to a Justin Fields-led Steelers squad, and it was a brutal offensive display from both franchises. One of the ugliest moments was when Nix threw an interception in the end zone in the third quarter while down 10-0.
Not only did he throw an interception in the red zone, but he couldn’t have made it easier for the Steelers. It’s almost like he was aiming at Cory Trice Jr. when he released the ball.

San Jose State women’s volleyball continued its winning ways on Sunday with a 3-2 victory over Santa Clara. The Spartans are now 6-0 on the season, led by transgender player Blaire Fleming.
As OutKick reported on Saturday, SJSU was scheduled to play two games over the weekend as part of the Santa Clara Tournament.
However, one of San Jose State’s opponents, Southern Utah, informed tournament officials that they did not want to compete against SJSU and the game was canceled.

The second Jon Rahm announced his move to LIV Golf he immediately became the new face of the Saudi-backed circuit. Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, and even Phil Mickelson to an extent held that same title when they joined LIV, but Rahm took over the top spot not only because he was the freshest face in the league, but because of his reported $300 million contract and the fact that he ended 2023 as the No. 3 ranked player in the world after winning four times that season.
