D.J. Burns is the GOAT.
D.J. Burns Jr. is the March Madness hero we need and deserve. The round mound who’s Final Four bound dispatched Duke on Sunday night, then had some choice words for fans in the stands.

Burns was in for some free throws at the end of the game when he heard Duke fans yelling at him, so he decided to dance a little, and throw some serious shade at them.

Ticket prices for the LSU/Iowa game might surprise some fans.
The Hawkeyes and Tigers play Monday night in Albany, New York in what is almost certainly the most-anticipated Elite 8 game in the history of women’s basketball thanks to the Caitlin Clark effect and LSU rivalry.
I hopped on SeatGeek curious to see what tickets were selling for, and I expected prices to be through the roof. While high, they might not be as high as you’d think.
As of publication, tickets are selling for $170 on SeatGeek with fees included. A lot of tickets are selling in the $350 range.

Former British Olympic medalist Sharron Davies has called out a transgendered female (a.k.a. A biological male) for competing in women’s track events.
Davies, who won a silver medal in the 400m medley at the Moscow Summer Olympics in 1980, saw that a transgendered female named Cece Telfer participated in the women’s division of the David Hemrey Valentine Invitational at Boston University in February.  The event featured people from high school to post college, the latter of whom ran under the designation “unattached” (like Telfer.

What the …
Luka Doncic is having a big year. He’s leading the NBA in scoring, the Mavericks are in the mix among the best teams in the west — and he’s pulling off ludicrous trick shots like they’re nothing.

He done did it. IYKYK‼️ @luka7doncic // #MFFL pic.twitter.com/fFCyNriRJu

Keep in mind that he did this at the Toyota Center, home of the Rockets. It’s not like he’s been able to practice on shooting the ball off the screen and getting the angle needed to drain the shot on the regular.

Russell Westbrook never shies away from jawing with fans, but in recent years, has shown that he really does not know when to pick his battles. His inability to assess a situation was on full display during the Clippers’ trip to Charlotte on Sunday.
While getting some shots up before the game, Westbrook clearly heard something from a fan that he did not appreciate. Naturally, he made his way over to the fan to share some words, despite the fact that the fan was wearing a full-on balloon hat.

The three-point lines at the women’s NCAA tournament were different distances on the same court in Portland. How does that happen?
As No. 3 seed NC State and No. 1 seed Texas prepared to play an Elite Eight game in the 2024 women’s NCAA tournament, coaches noticed the three-point lines were uneven on opposite ends of the court. The lines were measured prior to tip-off, and it was confirmed the distances were different. The teams agreed to play the game anyway to avoid a delay.
NC State beat Texas, 76-66, to reach the Final Four for the second time in program history.

This is why NASCAR shouldn’t race on Easter. See? Karma’s a you-know-what – just ask Bubba Wallace – and when you decide to put a race on the day our Lord & Savior rose from the dead, you get terrible racing.
And that’s what happened while Y’ALL (you’ll see why later) were sleeping last night – we got some pretty mundane automobile racing from Richmond, only to be slightly saved by a perfectly-executed late race caution from Bubba Wallace.
Thanks, Bub! Needed it and GOT it. Did it expose Martin Truex Jr.

All empires fall. Is Red Bull the next to crumble?
We are three races into the Formula 1 season.
While much remains the same from 2024 — Red Bull is leading the Constructors’ Championship and Max Verstappen is atop the Drivers’ standings — recent events have shaken the field up a bit. Mercedes is floundering, McLaren is strong, and Ferrari has certainly closed the gap to Red Bull.
