WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — New All Blacks coach Dave Rennie has chosen five-test flyhalf Ruben Love in his starting lineup for New Zealand’s Nations Championship opener against France at Christchurch.
In his first All Blacks lineup as head coach, Rennie preferred Love at No. 10 over veterans Beauden Barrett and Damian McKenzie. Love outplayed both of those players during the recent Super Rugby playoffs and offers a point of difference in his playing style.

Serena Williams made her return to the court at Wimbledon after nearly four years away. Will she play again later this week?

But the match did not appear on the Wimbledon schedule posted onlineThursday. The match could take place on Friday, July 3, but the schedule has not been released.

The Los Angeles dropped the final game of a three-game series against the Athletics, failing to generate much offense as they lost, 7-1.
The Dodgers only managed five hits against the A’s in the series finale, and their only run of the game came in the third inning. Recently recalled Charlie Barnes pitched seven innings for the Dodgers, coming in after Jack Dreyer opened for him, and allowed all seven of the A’s’ runs. He struck out two batters during his outing and allowed 12 hits.

On Wednesday night, the United States Men’s National Team notched a massive victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina to advance to the Round of 16 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. But they did suffer a rather significant loss.

The 2026 World Cup knockout stage continues on Thursday with three more Round of 32 matchups.
Here’s what you need to know for Day 22 of the World Cup.
Spain vs. Austria
Thursday, July 2 | 3 p.m. ET | Inglewood, Calif. | TV: Fox
Odds: Spain -1100, Austria +640
The reigning European champions are looking to do something that they haven’t in 16 years. Spain has failed to win a World Cup knockout stage match since 2010 when they won the tournament.

Folarin Balogun’s red card was the only damper on the United States’ 2-1 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday night to reach the World Cup last 16.
The decision by referee Raphael Claus to give the US forward a straight red in the 64th minute after a VAR check on a tackle to the ankle of Tarik Muharemović means that Balogun will not be able to play against Belgium on Monday.

We all know FIFA World Cup tickets are a hot commodity. Especially when Team USA is playing in the Bay Area!
But, what happens if the tickets you bought – suddenly disappeared on StubHub?
This one is relatable for anyone who’s purchased highly sought after tickets on StubHub. You plan months in advance, invest thousands of dollars, and then comes the utter disappointment: Oops, the seller backed out.

Malik Tillman had a sensational free kick goal to cap off a win for the United States men’s national team against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the round of 32, and the moment was met with an electric Spanish call.
After losing Folarin Balogun to a red card, the U.S. powered through with a second goal that put Bosnia and Herzegovina in a difficult position to mount a comeback. On a free kick just outside of the penalty box, Tillman placed the ball right over the defensive line and it curved perfectly into the goal for a beautiful score.
