Adam Silver had the perfect clap back for Shaquille O’Neal after the Hall of Famer claimed the NBA has become too “boring.”
Viewership is down in the NBA, and on a recent episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, O’Neal gave his theory on why. He said teams have abandoned good basketball in favor of just throwing up 3s.
“It’s down because we’re looking at the same thing,” O’Neal said. “Everybody is running the same plays… Steph Curry and those guys messed it up.

I’m going to dive into the college football playoff scenarios below, but I’d just like to go on the record saying that much of this will clear itself up over the next two weeks.
That is, the chaos, I think, is likely to get less intense, and we’re going to get some upsets that make the playoff picture less complicated.

New York Jets fans are among the most interesting fan bases in all sports, and one Jets fan in particular reminded the sports world of that very fact ahead of the team’s home matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon.
A group of Jets fans who, for whatever reason, still seem to believe in the 3-7 team arrived early at MetLife Stadium to ask players for some autographs. Wide receiver DaVante Adams obliged, but while he was making his way past the fans, he was handed two truly bizarre items to sign: a hamburger bun and a $100 bill.

Second game day update: Shortly before kickoff, Mike Garafolo reported that the team is continuing to approach Week 11 as though Amari Cooper will play against the Chiefs. However, he will have to wear a soft cast during the game. It’s unclear what that will mean for his performance.

LSU head coach Brian Kelly is in the hot seat after a 27-16 upset loss to the Florida Gators on Saturday. And the Gators’ social media team added insult to injury.

Terence Crawford was not impressed by Mike Tyson.
The 58-year-old boxing legend lost to 27-year-old YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul by unanimous decision in an overly-hyped bout on Netflix on Friday night. It was Tyson’s first officially sanctioned, professional fight in 19 years. And Crawford, the WBA super welterweight champion, took to social media to express his disappointment.
“I love Mike Tyson, but they giving him too much credit. He looked like trash, to train that long and only throw 97 punches the whole fight is crazy,” Crawford wrote on X.

The Mountain West Conference says its investigation into an allegation that San Jose State transgender volleyball player Blaire Fleming colluded with Colorado State’s Malaya Jones to throw the Oct. 3 match between the two schools found no evidence to corroborate the claim.
In a letter sent to the athletic directors for SJSU and CSU, which was obtained by Fox News Digital, the conference “did not find sufficient evidence of claims in a recent Title IX complaint.

Wisconsin football fans are livid following the team losing to Oregon.
The Badgers lost to the number one Ducks at home 16-13, and it’s the team’s third straight loss. Luke Fickell’s program now sits at 5-5, and what fans witnessed late Saturday night was beyond unacceptable.
The offensive was so atrocious that it made me want to puke. Quarterback Braedyn Locke finished the game with 96 yards on 12/28 passing with one touchdown and a game-ending interception.
