After having some time to process what all went down on Friday night at AT&T Stadium in his loss by unanimous decision to Jake Paul, boxing legend Mike Tyson made his first post on X about his experience getting in the ring “one last time.”
Sure, it wasn’t the most exciting fight we’ve ever seen (like, at all), but it was something to see Tyson hop back in the ring, and it was without a doubt a spectacle the likes of which the sport of boxing hasn’t seen in quite some time.
On Saturday afternoon, Tyson hopped on X to reflect on his experience.

It has been a bad, and I mean bad year for the Kennesaw State Owls football team.
This was the first year that the school from Georgia was a full-fledged member of the FBS, having joined Conference USA for athletics back in July. So far, the Owls have emerged victorious in only one of their nine games this year, and only two of their eight losses were by single digits. (Their one win came against my alma mater, Liberty, but we won’t talk about that).
As a result of that miserable start, head coach Brian Bohannon lost his job earlier this week.

Legendary National Football League head coach Bill Belichick hasn’t been out of coaching for long, but he’s already ready to make a comeback.
A new report from The Athletic’s Dianna Rossini says that despite his newfound success as a football analyst, Belichick wants to return to the sidelines. “Coaching is in his blood; he wants this,” Russini’s source said. 
Bill Cowher agreed, telling Richard Deitsch on his “Sports Media Podcast with Richard Deitsch” show that he believes Belichick will return to coaching.

Washington Spirit goalkeeper Aubrey Kingsbury saved all three penalties she faced as the Spirit defeated reigning champion NJ/NY Gotham FC, 3-0 in a penalty shootout on Saturday at Audi Field to advance to next week’s NWSL Championship.

If you watched the highly-anticipated fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, there wasn’t much excitement in the ring. But it sounds like there have been some outside of it, and it allegedly involved ex-NFLer Adam Pacman Jones.
According to TMZ Sports, Jones — a defensive back for the Bengals, Titans, Cowboys, and Broncos during his playing days — was arrested by several police officers inside the Loews Arlington Hotel following the fight.
The moment that Jones was taken into custody was caught on video.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back on pay-per-view (PPV) TONIGHT (Sat., Nov. 16, 2024) for its yearly mega Madison Square Garden-based card, and UFC 309’s lineup is a doozy (see it here). In the main event, Heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, finally returns from a torn pec to fight former three-time champion, Stipe Miocic. In the co-main event, Michael Chandler makes his big return after a long layoff (thanks, Conor!) against former Lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira.

If boxing fans thought that after defeating Mike Tyson last night in a boxing match that Jake Paul would finally focus on actual boxers as he tries to build up his career, you may want to think again, as the YouTuber has now called out Conor McGregor of all people!
“Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t,” the YouTuber-turned-boxer tweeted out early Saturday.
Paul and McGregor are no strangers.

Former MLB catcher Jonthan Lucroy isn’t going to let anyone shame him into silence for being conservative.
Lucroy has recently been sharing his political beliefs more and more, starting with when he did not kneel for the national anthem several years ago when that was all the rage (he explained his stance on “OutKick the Morning” with Charly Arnolt earlier this week). The morning after the presidential election was held, Lucroy went full beast mode and celebrated the return to common sense that Americans ushered in by electing Donald Trump.

Saturday’s game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Northwestern Wildcats is technically a home game for Northwestern. Yet though the game is at Wrigley Field, just over eight miles away from the Northwestern campus, you’d never know it.
Crowd shots of Wrigley showed Ohio State fans completely dominating the capacity crowd at Wrigley; a sea of fans in scarlet and grey. Before the game started, media on site pointed out that Buckeyes fans were completely obliterating any hope of a Northwestern home field advantage.

The ninth-ranked Wildcats rolled into Madison for a showdown at the Kohl Center in one of the biggest non-conference games of the young college basketball season.
Greg Gard and the Badgers punched the Wildcats in the mouth over and over again on the way to a massive 103-88 victory.
It was a great win and a great way to get the season started. However, it’s apparently time to remind people about expectations.

To say the 2024 Dallas Cowboys have been a disappointment would be an understatement.
The team entered the year coming off a playoff appearance a season ago with high expectations but has slumped to a 3-6 start and is seeing dreams of a return to the postseason fade away.

Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti is going to be a very rich man.
Cignetti has the Hoosiers sitting at a perfect 10-0 in his first season with the program, and he’s turned Indiana’s rise into one of the best stories in all of college football.
Indiana was a joke in the Big Ten for decades. Nobody feared playing the Hoosiers. It was always viewed as a cupcake game.
That’s definitely no longer the case, and the program’s turnaround has resulted in Cignetti getting a big extension.
