There are any number of ways to win in the NFL and the Seahawks used one of those. Teams can try to outscore other teams with high octane offenses. They can be the riverboat gamblers that ride a hot hand to the finish line. They can also use a stifling defense to keep themselves in every game.
The last one sounds vaguely familiar. It should sound familiar because that is what the Texans did all season.

LIVIGNO, Italy — Team USA picked up a medal in men’s slopestyle on Tuesday but no longer owns an event it used to dominate.

Former LSU football running back John Emery had a whirlwind of a career. He signed with LSU in 2019 and transferred to UTSA after the 2024 season. He was with the Tigers on their national title run with Joe Burrow and remained with the team as Ed Orgeron was fired and Brian Kelly was hired. Emery spent six years at LSU before spending a seventh year in college football at UTSA.
However, Emery didn’t see the field much with the Roadrunners. He only played five offensive snaps and carried the ball four times for four yards in UTSA’s Week 7 game vs. Rice.
