The 25th Winter Olympics will feature almost 3,000 athletes from 90 countries competing for 116 medals at Milan-Cortina.
Team GB have sent 53 athletes to the Games with plenty of medal potential.

Bobby White took on the gruelling challenge, running the 26.2 (42.2km) mile races with an average time of 5:09:58.
His younger brother Anton was 15 when he died in 2004 and since then his family has raised more than £100,000 for the Glasgow Hospital Children’s Charity.

Former world champion Floyd Mayweather has announced he will come out of retirement for a fourth time following his upcoming exhibition bout with Mike Tyson, to take part in his first professional fight for nearly 10 years – against an unnamed opponent.
The 48-year-old American, whose most recent retirement was in 2017, is due to face former undisputed world heavyweight champion Tyson, 59, in the spring, although the date and venue are still to be confirmed.

Scheffler’s seven-footer for par dove right. It caught the edge. It fell to the bottom. And the World No. 1, filled with belief and relief, moved on to the weekend, some two touchdowns behind leader Marco Penge but with two quarters yet to play.

The G League’s OKC Blue dropped a 123-106 loss to the Salt Lake City Stars on Friday. The road defeat put their record to 7-16 in the regular season.
The Blue were behind from the jump. They were in a 28-26 deficit after the first quarter. The second frame was much of the same story as OKC’s 30 points didn’t help it get ahead. Despite that, it was a close contest as neither led by more than single-digit points.
The Blue entered halftime in a 64-56 hole. Alas, the second half got away from them.

It took about a half for things to get rolling consistently, but the Sioux Falls Washington girls basketball team was able to get out in transition and run past Sioux Falls Roosevelt 69-43 on Friday, Feb. 20.
The Rough Riders were intent on getting the ball inside to 6-foot-3 sophomore Kalli Harris, which slowed the game down considerably. Roosevelt was able to hang around in the first half as Washington’s half-court offense struggled to get going, but the Warriors still led 34-23 at the break.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Luka Doncic had 38 points and 11 assists, Austin Reaves added 29 points and the Los Angeles Lakers held off the Los Angeles Clippers down the stretch for a 125-122 victory Friday night.
LeBron James had 13 points and 11 assists for the Lakers in their return from the All-Star break. They blew a 15-point lead in the second half, but Doncic scored 12 points in the fourth quarter as the Lakers split the four-game season series with their crosstown rivals.
