The world is wondering if Tiger Woods will partake in the Masters Tournament, but maybe we should shift our focus to the U.S. Senior Open.
Friday brought with it word that Woods has officially entered to compete at the U.S.

The Syracuse Orange entered the 2026 season with a super-experienced core four returning to lead their offense.
The quartet of Joey Spallina, Michael Leo, Finn Thomson and Luke Rhoa were all going into their senior year, giving the Orange perhaps the best collection of returning veteran talent in the country.

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Boston Red Sox paid Kristian Campbell early last April because the organization believed in the 2023 fourth-rounder after his meteoric minor league rise. 
His MLB experiment came crashing down after just 11 weeks in the show last season. Campbell struggled defensively at second base and hit just .223 in 67 games. The Red Sox sent him to Triple-A Worcester to reset his environment and allow the young talent to refine his offensive approach and find his defensive strengths.

Under-fire Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) chair Richard Collier-Keywood will step down from his role this summer at the end of his three-year term.
Collier-Keywood has been in position since 2023 but will exit on 16 July after deciding not to seek a second term.
The announcement comes ahead of an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Monday, 13 April at which he was due to face a vote of no confidence.

March 27 (UPI) — Yordan Alvarez obliterated a curveball for what appeared to be a likely home run before the ball hit the roof of Daikin Park and was ruled foul.
The oddity occurred in the bottom of the first inning of the Houston Astros’ 3-0 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday in Houston. Alvarez was 0 for 3 in the setback.
“Things happen how they happen,” Alvarez told reporters.

A new Fox News national survey of registered voters finds that majorities of both sports fans (72%) and non-fans (60%) think major sporting events should be required to stay on free broadcast television, not behind streaming paywalls. Only 27% of fans and 38% of non-fans say leagues should be allowed to shift games to paid streaming services.

MLB’s rollout of the automated ball-strike (ABS) challenge system has been in long time coming, but there’s going to be an adjustment period for some players. Seattle Mariners star Cal Raleigh is among those who needed a game to get used to the new technology, as he failed to challenge a key call late in the Mariners’ 6-4 loss on Opening Day.
The call came in the bottom of the eighth inning. With the Mariners trailing by a run, Raleigh was called out on strikes on a slider well outside the zone. While Raleigh had the option to challenge the pitch, he declined to do it.
