Jared McCain scored 15 points and Chet Holmgren had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the NBA-leading Thunder, who swept the season series against the Lakers with their sixth straight victory and 18th in 19 games overall.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ indignity was predictable on Tuesday, but that doesn’t mean it counts any less in the standings.

Unlike many confrontations described as brawls in MLB, hands were thrown in Tuesday’s game between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Angels.
A fight broke out in the fifth inning between Braves pitcher Reynaldo López and Angels designated hitter Jorge Soler, triggering a full clearing of the benches and bullpens. Tension had been brewing throughout the game, with Soler hitting a two-run homer in the first inning then getting hit by a 96 mph fastball in the third.
Tensions boiled over when López threw a high fastball during Soler’s third plate appearance.

There’s an interesting case for the San Francisco 49ers to make a trade back from the No. 27 overall pick. Longtime 49ers insider Matt Maiocco from NBC Sports Bay Area proposed a trade back scenario for San Francisco that involves dealing with an NFC West rival.
Maiocco’s trade is simple. The 49ers send the No. 27 overall pick to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for the No. 34 pick in the second round, the No. 104 pick in the fourth round and the No. 143 pick in the fifth round.

Brown has scored 26 or more points in his last 10 games. Jayson Tatum added 23 points and has had at least 20 in each of his last six games. Both played the entire fourth quarter.
With the win, the Celtics inched closer to locking up the No. 2 playoff seed in the Eastern Conference. It also gave Boston a 2-1 win in the season series with the Hornets, who could potentially be its first-round opponent.

FSU (24-8, 9-3 ACC) never led in the game as Florida (25-9, 7-5 SEC) took an early 1-0 lead with a solo home run in the third inning before the Seminoles tied it in the bottom of the inning. The Gators retook the lead in the fifth with another solo home run, before making it a 4-1 game with a pair of two-out walks and singles.
