The three most interesting teams to watch in the 2026 NFL Draft from a trade perspective are the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars.
The buzz about a Dallas move up the board is flying around the league right now, which surprises me after having talked with a talent evaluator in that franchise while putting together the 2026 All-Juice team in late March and early April.

Midfielder backed to make Barcelona move – “He’s a mix of Frenkie de Jong and Pedri”
Barcelona have started to draw up their plans for the summer transfer window, and one area that could be addressed is midfield. It’s looking increasingly likely that Marc Casado will depart, and if that happens, he will need to be replaced.
Bernardo Silva has been linked in recent weeks, but one of the players that Barcelona have been following this season is Kees Smit.

Barcelona have plan in place for Hansi Flick contract talks
Barcelona have a number of contract situations to resolve in the lead-up to the summer transfer window, and of them is Hansi Flick’s. The German manager’s current deal expires in 2027, but there is hope that he can be convinced to remain at the Spotify Camp Nou for an additional 12 months at the very least.
Barcelona president-elect Joan Laporta has already scheduled talks with Flick, which these due to take place once the season is over.

Michigan State hockey has added another goaltender commitment to their goalie room for next season. The Spartans have picked up the commitment of JJ Salajko.
Salajko joins Joshua Ravensbergen and Northeastern transfer Quentin Sigurdson in the MSU goalie room next season. Prior to joining the Spartans, the Columbus (OH) native played for the Watertown Shamrocks of the NAHL. With Watertown, he held a 3.78 goals against average and a .886 save percentage.
Likely a third goaltender, Salajko fills up the Spartans room for the 2026-27 season.

The expanded College Football Playoff has created the need for several massive changes in the structure and timing of the college football season. 
Several prominent voices and coaches have come out in favor of eliminating institutions like the SEC Championship Game. Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart recently spoke about the game becoming less meaningful and important if the playoff field grows to 16 teams or more.

Jay-Jay Wilson is back with a vengeance.
On Thursday, Wilson squared off against the undefeated Darragh Kelly in the main event of PFL Belfast at the SSE Arena in Northern Ireland. And after just 37 seconds, Kelly was undefeated no more, thanks to a savage left hook from “The Maori Kid.”
Wilson and Kelly wasted no time getting into the action, with Helly pressing in aggressively on Wilson. But Wilson landed a sharp body kick that drew Kelly in, and then flattened him with his left hand and follow-up shots, scoring the fastest finish of his career.

Oklahoma Sooners linebacker Owen Heinecke has been granted an injunction by Judge Thad Balkman in Cleveland County Court that will allow him to play one more season of college football in 2026. After a long fight against the NCAA, it looks like Heinecke will be able to suit up for OU this year, with Judge Balkman’s ruling making him immediately eligible to play.
It’s a huge decision for the Sooners, as they’ll now have their star LB back in the fold for this season.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Baltimore Ravens are going to look a little different in 2026. Literally.

PITTSBURGH — The first four-game series of the year for the Pittsburgh Pirates resulted in an even split after a 2-2 showing against the Washington Nationals at PNC Park.
The series had just about everything — from a high-scoring game one to a pitchers’ duel in game three and just about everything else you can think of.
The bats won the Pirates the first game, 16-5. The pitching carried the load in the third game, a 2-0 win. The Nationals were on the right side of one-run margins in the two games they claimed.

It’s been a year since heavyweight champ and famous grill seller George Foreman was laid to rest on April 17, 2025. When he died the month before, Foreman said he wanted to be buried in Iowa, in the landscape that had given him a sense of peace.
