I knew Ducks rookie Cutter Gauthier was going to hear it from fans in his Philadelphia debut. You knew it too, and so did he, but I don’t think he could have been ready for what was coming.
Gauthier was a first-round pick for the Flyers in 2023 but less than a year later he made it abundantly clear that he didn’t want to be a Flyer so the team dealt him to the Ducks in exchange for defenseman Jamie Drysdale (keep that name in the back of your head).

The Houston Texans and their defense arrived at the NFL playoffs on Sunday. And they’re moving on to the division round next weekend.
The Texans turned what had been a roller-coaster season filled with uncertainty into a stirring and convincing 25-12 blowout victory over the Chargers. 
It was a masterpiece of defensive play.
It was almost cringey to watch for Los Angeles and their quarterback Justin Herbert.
“Our defense, they dominated today,” said Texans coach DeMeco Ryans, a former NFL linebacker. “That’s who we want to be. They played our brand of football.

On Saturday afternoon, Florida Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk was gearing up for a game against the Boston Bruins when he made it clear that he’s all about Team USA.

The Houston Texans and Los Angeles Chargers played a wild game on Saturday afternoon in the NFL Wild Card round. To make it even crazier, the final score was the first time an NFL game ever ended 32-12. It is an NFL Scorigami!
Usually Scorigamis happen when weird stuff takes place in an NFL game like teams going for two or missed extra points. In this game, we had a blocked extra point that was returned for a defensive two-point conversion, the first in NFL playoff history.

Former Oregon Duck receiver Ryan Pellum is currently in the transfer portal, but it looks like he has way bigger issues to deal with than picking a school after he was arrested in connection with an alleged pistol-whipping incident.
According to The New York Post, Pellum is being charged with assault with the use of a firearm and was arrested in Springfield, Oregon, not too far from the Oregon campus in Eugene, Oregon.
However, despite the arrest in Oregon, the incident is alleged to have happened on Christmas Day in Long Beach, California, which is Pellum’s hometown.
