Former NFL coach Jack Del Rio’s time at Wisconsin is over after being arrested.
The former Raiders head coach and Commanders DC was arrested on an OWI charge after allegedly crashing his vehicle into a street sign and fence in Madison early Friday morning, according to ESPN.
Del Rio was allegedly walking away from the scene at the time police made contact with him shortly after midnight on Friday.
Following his arrest, Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell announced that Del Rio’s time as a staffer with the Badgers is over.

OutKick exclusively reported her suspension, which began on Nov. 2. 
The university sent a statement to OutKick confirming the news, but did not provide a reason. 
“The associate head coach of the San Jose State University women’s volleyball team is not with the team at this time, and we will not provide further information on this matter,” SJSU said in a statement.

NBC’s Sunday Night Football postgame show is starting to be must-watch television for the unscripted messages NFL players are delivering – and none seems more important than what Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates said Sunday night about his faith in Jesus Christ.

Duke Blue Devils basketball star Cooper Flagg just can’t stop cramping.
We’re a mere two games into the basketball season (Duke won both by 30+ points), and Flagg is already dealing with health issues. The 17-year-old from Newport, ME (who knew Maine was a basketball pipeline?) was forced to sit out all but five minutes in the second half of a 100-52 blowout of the Army Black Knights because his muscles kept seizing up.
“We’ve got to help him,” Duke head coach John Scheyer said after the win against Army on Friday. “I’m not happy about it, for him.

During a report on the WTA Finals match between Czechia’s Barbora Krejčíková and China’s Zheng Qinwen, Wertheim commented that the Zoom camera angle made his forehead look big. That’s when he took an unnecessary shot at Krejčíková’s face.
“Who do you think I am, Barbora Krejčíková?” Wertheim asked in the hot mic moment. “Look at the forehead when Krejcikova and Zheng take the court. Eight-head.

Ole Miss fans weren’t the only ones who enjoyed themselves after the Rebels pulled off a dominating upset win over the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. One of Georgia’s own players seemed fired up after his team lost.
Ole Miss students and fans stormed the field after the 28-10 win in Oxford, and in the middle of all the chaos was Georgia safety Jake Pope, who was caught on video celebrating with a couple of Rebel fans just seconds after his team’s loss.
While it’s a tough, tough look for Pope, there is some context that needs to be shared here.

In 2005, Detroit called up a 22-year-old pitching prospect named Justin Verlander. He made two starts, but they did not go particularly well. The next season, he started a streak of nine years in a row with at least 30 starts. In December of 2009, the Tigers traded for another pitching prospect named Max Scherzer, who had just finished his first full season in the majors.

The Lions’ comeback victory over the Houston Texans was the culmination of an NFL Sunday in which multiple teams – the Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, Lions and New Orleans Saints – won in the final seconds.
The 49ers drove for their winning field goal in the final 41 seconds.

Unrivaled, a 3-on-3 women’s professional basketball league in Miami, is set to tip-off on January 17th in Miami, and include a total of 36 WNBA players split among six teams. The full list of players will be revealed by November 20th.

The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver lost his cool on his team’s sideline after kicker Jake Moody missed his third field goal attempt (3-of-6) of the day against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It was obviously a rough day for Moody, as his three misses resulted in a tight game between the two teams. 
But it was his miss with three minutes left in the fourth quarter that got Samuel riled up.
