Livvy Dunne is clearly up on some of the freezing cold takes from the 2024 college football season. Dunne appeared on College GameDay on Saturday, with boyfriend Paul Skenes, and immediately took advantage of the opportunity to troll former Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
Saban earlier this year infamously put his foot in his mouth with some disparaging comments about the crowd size and environment in Nashville for Vanderbilt Commodores home games.
“The only place you play in the SEC that’s not hard to play is Vanderbilt.
The SEC title race just got a lot more complicated.

The Winnipeg Jets hosted the Dallas Stars on Saturday and it was a rough day to be Stars neminder Jake Oettinger.
The Dallas goalie is one of the best goalies in the NHL, but on Saturday afternoon he was just a bit off. He gave up 4 goals on 25 shots in the 4-1 loss.
No worries, it happens to everyone.
However, Oettinger and the Stars were facing a Jets team that had Connor Hellebuyck in net. Both were born in the United States and are both candidates and likely the two favorites to represent the United States at the NHL’s upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off early next year.

The Ohio State Buckeyes faced the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday and it was about as one-sided as everyone assumed it would be with Ohio State breezing to a 45-0 win.
In fact, it was so out of hand, that by halftime the Buckeyes’ marching band already had its sights on its biggest rivals, the Michigan Wolverines, who Ohio State won’t even face until November 30.
And the band did so in one of the funniest ways imaginable.
Now, I’m not a big marching band guy. I can appreciate what it brings to the college football experience, but otherwise, I don’t get it.

The Dallas Cowboys were already having a rough season, going 3-5 in their first eight games and looking lethargic in most of them. While their season already looked bleak, it looks even worse now.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that quarterback Dak Prescott plans to undergo season-ending surgery on his torn hamstring. Initially, the team was fairly confident he would be able to avoid this path to recovery, but now it has become clear that the surgery is in his best interest.
Somewhere, Stephen A. Smith is getting ready to roast the Cowboys plenty more times before the season is over.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been keeping an eye on this lab monkey situation in South Carolina, and it seems like they’re having a hell of a time corralling these Rhesus macaques because, after three days on the lam, only one has been recaptured.
And it sounds like, at this point, these monkeys might be trolling everybody.
The 49ers activated running back Christian McCaffrey from injured reserve Saturday, setting up his season debut on Sunday vs. the Bucs.
49ers defensive end Nick Bosa was fined $11,255 by the NFL for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat during a postgame interview.
Haynes King led Georgia Tech to a 28-23 win over previously unbeaten No. 4 Miami on Saturday, the Yellow Jackets’ first win over a top-five team in 15 years.

Nick Bosa has been fined by the NFL for his viral MAGA hat display in Week 8, and predictably, conservatives are not going to be happy, while liberals will rejoice.
Give the liberals a break, folks. They’ve had it rough lately.
The NFL fined Bosa $11,255 for wearing a white hat inscribed with Make America Great Again in gold lettering and then photobombing the postgame interview on NBC after the Sunday Night Football game between the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys.
The NFL held off the announcement and actually didn’t announce the fine but leaked it via sources.

There are plenty of attributes that make Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis a great athlete, but his decision-making is not one of them. Cincinnati Bearcats quarterback Brendan Sorsby should have thought about that before trying to emulate the NFL star on Saturday.
Facing a 4th-and-1 with a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, Sorsby was flushed from the pocket and tried to escape a West Virginia defender. When he could not, he made the inexplicably stupid decision to force a shovel pass (a generous term for this throw) into double coverage.

The Dallas Cowboys might be without Dak Prescott for the rest of the 2024 NFL season
The 2024 NFL season just keeps getting worse for the Dallas Cowboys.
Last Sunday’s 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons dropped the Cowboys to 3-5 on the season, leaving Dallas mired in third place in the NFC East. The Cowboys are looking up at both the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders in the division, and their playoff hopes are slipping away from them.
Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart briefly leaves game against Georgia after first drive with left ankle injury
Dart threw an interception on Ole Miss’ first possession and limped off the field.
We expected some type of chaos on Saturday in college football, and Georgia Tech delivered that on Saturday by defeating No. 4 Miami 28-23 in Atlanta.
After testing fate numerous times this season, the Georgia Tech rushing attack was the one component that finally ended the Hurricanes perfect record, after many others had tried. What started as a clinic on how to attack the Miami defense on the ground, turned into a massive problem that couldn’t be stopped in the second half.
A new batch of names will be added to the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday, and one of the inductees — former Nashville Predators and Montreal Canadiens D-man — Shea Weber revealed what kind of condition he was in going into the 2021 Stanley Cup Final between his Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Spoiler Alert: it wasn’t good.
Weber — a shutdown defender who was also known for having one of the hardest slapshots in league history — spoke to the media ahead of his induction, and that’s when he discussed the Cup Final.

The Buckeyes marching band had more than a little fun at Michigan’s expense Saturday
The 120th meeting between Ohio State and Michigan is not for a few more weeks, as the Buckeyes will host the Wolverines on the final day of November in the latest installment of this storied college football rivalry.
But that did not stop the Ohio State band from taking a shot at “That Team Up North” Saturday.
During halftime of Ohio State’s game against Purdue, the Ohio State University Marching Band took the field for their halftime performance.
