Toni Storm tells SB Nation she’s done with AEW and wrestling.
Toni Storm is leaving pro wrestling. After losing the AEW Women’s World Championship to Mariah May at All In 2024, and following losses in both NJPW and CMLL, Storm told SB Nation in an exclusive interview (and in a style all of her own) that there’s nothing left for her in the sport.
Storm apologized to her fans for “being such a failure,” adding that they won’t be seeing her in AEW, NJPW, CMLL, or anywhere else in wrestling.
Brian Harman, winner of the 2023 Open, is asking for prayers for a hero who saved his six-year-old son’s life in a recent swimming accident.
Speaking ahead of this week’s RSM Classic in his home state of Georgia, Harman shared a story about his wife, their children, and some family friends taking a trip to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, in mid-October while he was in Asia playing in the Macua Open.
While boogie boarding with a friend, Harman explained that his son was pulled out by a rip current.

Dalton Knecht’s NBA dreams could have died so many times. Instead, he’s living his fantasy with the Lakers.
Dalton Knecht’s NBA dreams should have been over when he didn’t land a scholarship to his dream school, Colorado, coming out of high school in suburban Denver. He was forced to play JUCO ball the next two years, which eventually led to an opportunity at tiny Northern Colorado. Knecht failed to land a starting spot in his first year with the Bears. In his second, the team finished only 12-20 with Knecht as their leading man.
I’ll never read a late-night Schefter tweet the same again.
It takes a lot of self-sacrifice to be an NFL insider, and Adam Schefter’s dedication to the craft is second to none. On Wednesday the ESPN personality was asked on This is Football about the weirdest place he’s every broken a story and… well… it was sex. He was having sex.
I asked @AdamSchefter the weirdest place he’s ever broken a story. I cannot possibly recommend this clip more.

Is former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis trying to follow in the footsteps of Deion Sanders and Eddie George by becoming a college football head coach?
Well, it sounds like Ray Lewis is at least throwing his name into the ring for the Florida Atlantic job, according to a post by Adam Schefter.
I don’t know how much stock you want to put into this equation, but there is obviously a reason why Schefter would be putting out a post about something like this.

The Patriots are putting everything in Drake Maye’s hands, and the rookie is answering the call
The 2024 NFL season has a familiar — and unfamiliar — feel for New England Patriots fans.
The keys to the offense, and the franchise, have been handed to a rookie quarterback. A first-round selection, wearing No. 10, tasked with taking over an offense that years ago was considered the league’s best, and living up to lofty expectations and potential comparisons to one of the game’s best.

After Lakers guard Dalton Knecht tied an NBA rookie record with nine 3-pointers en route to 37 points in a 124-118 win over the Jazz on Tuesday, LeBron James wanted to clarify just how Knecht landed in L.A.
The knives are out around the New York Jets again, and now they’re taking wild stabs at club owner Woody Johnson.
That’s the newest chapter to a saga that has the Jets going from a team bragging about being a Super Bowl contender to a team conceding a total reboot is coming following the firing of head coach Robert Saleh last month, the firing of general manager Joe Douglas on Tuesday, and the likely parting of ways with quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the offseason.
The Jets on Tuesday went in on themselves. Johnson fired Douglas, which by the way, was exactly the right move.
There’s more evidence to suggest Giddey should seek to switch positions.

The Los Angeles Sparks hired Lynne Roberts, a former college coach of 27 years. The Dream snagged FGCU’s Karl Smesko.
The Los Angeles Sparks have found their new head coach: Lynne Roberts, a seasoned Division I coach with 27 seasons of collegiate women’s basketball experience. That hiring was announced just a week after a different WNBA head coaching vacancy was filled, with Florida Gulf Coast’s Karl Smesko being named head coach of the Atlanta Dream.
Two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning, prolific tight end Antonio Gates and dominant pass rusher Jared Allen are among the 25 modern-era candidates for the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class.
The Trump Dance is the celebration taking over the American sports world. Christian Pulisic, the face of U.S. men’s soccer, brought the celebration to the global stage by doing the dance after scoring a goal against Jamaica, and people’s brains simply can not handle it.
An American, specifically an American with a platform, doing a dance tipping their cap to the President-Elect who swept every swing state and won the popular vote by more than 2.5 million votes is something some can not comprehend.

Tua Tagovailoa has been keeping plays alive and keeping the offense moving for the Dolphins.
I know, I know. I just talked about the Miami Dolphins saving their season last week, but this week I’m going to talk about another Miami Dolphin who is taking on more responsibility this season: QB Tua Tagovailoa. One of my biggest criticism of the Dolphins’ signal caller was in his play outside of structure.
Rourke will be a serious finalist candidate if the No. 5 Hoosiers beat the No. 2 Buckeyes.
Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell shared an awesome moment with WWII veterans this past weekend.
The Lions stomped the Jaguars 52-6 Sunday to improve to 9-1 on the season. Campbell absolutely has Detroit rolling.
There’s a serious argument to be made that the Lions are the best team in the league. As a Detroit man, watching Campbell change the culture has been a ton of fun.
Not only did Campbell oversee the Lions destroying the Jags, but he also took some time to thank WWII heroes before the game.

How Anthony Richardson settled down and started balling.
After Indianapolis Colts’ QB Anthony Richardson was benched for Joe Flacco two weeks ago, many wondered what his future in the NFL would be. I gave some reasons why he was seemingly regressing in his last game before his benching, but above anything else I really just thought the kid was playing too amped up, too tight. That’s natural for a player who hasn’t even had a full season’s worth of starts under his belt.

Williams is hoping for a more productive race this weekend at the Las Vegas Grand Prix
The last time the Formula 1 grid was in action, Williams was enduring one of the toughest weeks possible for an F1 team.
With heavy rains forcing the postponement of qualifying in Brazil to Sunday morning, just hours before the São Paulo Grand Prix, the ten F1 teams faced a difficult challenge with the compressed schedule.
Joey Galloway is the proud owner of the dumbest take of the college football season.
The latest College Football Playoff rankings were unveiled Tuesday night, and one of the biggest stories in college football is number five Indiana.
The Hoosiers are a perfect 10-0, and have a monster matchup against Ohio State this weekend in Columbus. A win will guarantee a spot in the CFP for Indiana.
It’s the biggest game in several years for the Hoosiers….and Galloway thinks star QB Kurtis Rourke should be glued to the bench.

Which running backs will shine in Week 12 for your fantasy football teams? We’ll take a look at all of them in our PPR rankings.
Welcome to Week 12 of the fantasy football season! But before we get to all that, let’s take a look at Week 11 and how the running backs performed. Joe Mixon led the way with a huge game on Monday Night Football against the horrid Cowboys. His three touchdowns and 153 yards dominated the field and likely came at a good time on Monday night for a lot of fantasy footballers.

Which quarterbacks will shine in Week 12 for your fantasy football teams? We’ll take a look at all of them in our rankings.
Week 11 is in the books and what a week it was. Josh Allen pulled a Patrick Mahomes to beat Mahomes and the Chiefs, while the Steelers took over as the AFC North leaders after holding Lamar Jackson down yet again, despite Russell Wilson playing poorly. And how about Anthony Richardson returning from a two-game benching to beat the Jets and finish as QB4 in fantasy with two rushing touchdowns.

To go for it or to not go for it—a question every golfer faces during every round they play.
Golf involves plenty of risk, whether it be water, sand, or severely undulating greens. But conquering those risks brings great rewards, usually in the form of a lower score, which ultimately translates into wins.
Texas QB Quinn Ewers had a bit of an unexpected answer when asked about his future with the team.
It’s long been expected that this season will be Ewers‘ last one in Austin. He’s viewed as a top NFL prospect, and his stock was very high heading into the season.
It’s taken a bit of a hit after struggling with his health and some inconsistency on the field. Yet, Texas is 9-1, and there’s no doubt NFL scouts remain very interested in the Longhorns passer.
