Spring training is a time to iron out things for MLB teams, and in the case of Mets catcher Francisco Alvarez: Perhaps time to think about ordering a new cup.

The Mets and Red Sox faced off in Spring Training on Monday afternoon and Paul Blackburn was developing his rapport with Alvarez when a pitch got tipped by Alex Bregman and rocketed right into the catcher’s bean bag.

Luka Doncic isn’t above playing a little gamesmanship, but against the Clippers he did it in the grossest way imaginable. James Harden was shooting free throws in a close battle when Luka picked up the ball, rubbed his head sweat all over it, and tossed it to the referee. She was not pleased.

Who saw the biggest jump leaving Indy?
At the 2025 NFL Combine, we saw a lot of impressive jumps. South Carolina S Nick Emmanwori jumped 11’6 in the broad jump and 43 inches in the vertical jump by himself. Texas A&M EDGE Shemar Stewart jumped 40 inches in the vertical at 267 pounds.
However, the biggest jumps are by players who were on the fringe of certain rounds, or even on the fringe of being drafted, inserting themselves into draft discussion with a strong Combine performance.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump will hold his first joint address in front of Congress since returning to the Oval Office. Among those in the crowd will be 19-year-old Payton McNabb, the former high school volleyball player who was severely injured by a transgender opponent. 
The Daily Caller reported that McNabb will be a special guest of President Trump’s and that he plans to specifically shout her out during the address while touting his recent executive order banning biological males from women’s sports.
