The Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers showed what NBA basketball looks like at its best on Friday night, as the two top teams in the East provided a thrilling potential conference finals preview at TD Garden. This didn’t always look like an instant classic: the Celtics took a huge lead early in the first quarter before Cleveland rallied back to make it competitive, and then zoomed ahead in the second half.
Celtics forward Sam Hauser buried a three-pointer to put Boston up 22-3 at the start of the game.

Charley Hull revealed that she had gotten sick before the third round of the HSBC Women’s World Championship, but that did not phase her.
No matter what challenges Charley Hull has thrown her way, she always seems unfazed.
Saturday’s third round in Singapore was no different. After firing a bogey-free, 4-under 68, Hull revealed that she had gotten sick earlier that morning. But she showed no signs of fatigue or wooziness during her round.

President Donald Trump has come to the aid of one of the MLB’s best – and most controversial – players of all-time.
Pete Rose played the majority of his Hall of Fame-worthy career with the Cincinnati Reds. Over 24 (!!!) years in the MLB he amassed a league-record 4,256 hits. For perspective, only one other player in league history – Ty Cobb – has more than 4,000 hits.
However, Rose was banned from professional baseball in 1989 after it was discovered he gambled on games (though he maintained he never bet on his own team).

The HSBC Women’s World Championship at the Tanjong Course in Sentosa, Singapore, is shaping up to be the most thrilling tournament of the 2025 LPGA season thus far.
Defending AIG Women’s Open champion Lydia Ko is at 10-under par, leading Charley Hull by one shot at the 54-hole mark. Ko fired a 4-under 68 on Saturday, a round that featured seven birdies and three bogies.

Who stood out among the DBs and TEs at the Combine?
The second day of the 2025 NFL Combine brought us some memorable moments. We had guys running below the 4.3 second mark in the 40-yard dash, some incredible jumps and the debut (?) of a new name for a drill that’s been used for a long time.
So who or what stood out when the DBs and TEs tested?

Kentucky CB Maxwell Hairston holds the temporary title of fastest man of the NFL Combine. He blazed a 4.28 second 40-yard dash and looked effortless and smooth during positional drills.
