BALTIMORE (AP) — José Tena came around from second base to score the tiebreaking run on an infield hit by Nasim Nuñez in the ninth inning, and the Washington Nationals got home runs from Nathaniel Lowe and James Wood in a 4-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night.
After reaching on a walk from Félix Bautista (0-1) and taking second on a groundout, Tena was off and running when Nuñez hit a grounder to first baseman Ryan Mountcastle. Nuñez beat the throw to Bautista by a step before Tena came home.

For the first time in a quarter-century, the New York Knicks are headed to the Eastern Conference Finals.
The historic club has suffered a 25-year drought from the conference finals, and they haven’t captured a title in over 50 years.

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State announced the signing of veteran transfer post Lizzy Williamson on Thursday.
The 6-foot-5 graduate student from Adelaide, Australia is a transfer from NC State, where she helped the Wolfpack reach the 2024 Final Four.
With the season on the line, the Boston Celtics not only lost Game 6 of their series against the New York Knicks, ending their season in the process, but they were also humiliated by a final score of 119-81.
Playing without Jayson Tatum proved too much to overcome against their division rival, though the Celtics had their franchise player for the first four games of the playoff series and were still down 2-1 before he tore his Achilles.
Tatum’s injury undoubtedly played a role in how the Celtics not only lost but got blown out.
