After missing six games with a left shin contusion, Cade Cunningham made his long-awaited return for the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday.
It was spoiled by a big night from Memphis’ Desmond Bane, though, as he led all scorers with 38 points and the Grizzlies defeated the Pistons at home, 109-103. Bane shot 15-for-23 and knocked down a dagger 3-pointer with 53 seconds remaining to open a 104-98 lead the Pistons didn’t have enough time to overcome.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Anthony Edwards scored 37 points, Rudy Gobert added 23 points and 19 rebounds and the Minnesota Timberwolves extended their winning streak to five games with a 114-109 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.
Julius Randle chipped in 15 points and Donte DiVincenzo 13 for the Timberwolves, who won for the sixth time in seven games.
Quentin Grimes led Philadelphia with 28 points on 10-for-18 shooting, including 6 for 10 from long distance.

The Final Four semifinal was delivered on Saturday night in a magnificent way, as Florida defeated Auburn 79-73 in what was a back-and-forth street fight for forty minutes inside the Alamodome. 
A packed house, with two teams from the SEC battling for a spot in the national title game on Monday night, was certainly one to remember. Thanks to a monster night from the field, Walter Clayton Jr. put himself in the category of best Final Four performance, with 32 points against a tough Auburn defense that relied on Johni Broome in the paint.
