South Carolina’s MiLaysia Fulwiley will join Kim Mulkey and Flau’Jae Johnson at LSU.
The schedules for women’s basketball in the SEC won’t be released for a few more months, but when they come out folks will want to circle one matchup that just got a whole lot more interesting: South Carolina at LSU.
It’s difficult to call this series a true rivalry because the Gamecocks have 17 consecutive wins over the Tigers.

Hockey is a violent sport, with dudes slamming themselves into other players on the regular. That intensity only picks up in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, when legacies are on the line.
A series between heated rivals means there will be a lot of hard hits. The Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers, who have combined to win three of the past five Stanley Cups, qualify as rivals. When these two sides cross paths, things get heated in a hurry and some questionable hits take place.
DETROIT (AP) — New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson was booed almost every time he touched the ball in Game 3 against the Detroit Pistons.
Brunson heard much worse than that Thursday night during a win that gave the Knicks a 2-1 lead in the first-round Eastern Conference playoff series.
Fans at Little Caesars Arena directed a three-word chant at Brunson — beginning with a four-letter profanity and ending with his name — on numerous occasions.

LeBron James left many NBA fans upset due to his mysterious comments regarding his health. The Los Angeles Lakers star has been dealing with a couple of injuries, more specifically a hip flexor strain and groin injury.
This was already alarming ahead of Game 2 of the Lakers’ first-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The purple and gold ended up losing that game117-95 to head to Minnesota with one win and one loss.
They return to action tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET at Target Center. Talking with reporters, James refused to acknowledge whether he was healthy.
Detroit Lions general manager Brad Holmes compared first-round pick Tyleik Williams to another Lions defensive tackle, Alim McNeill. Williams’ old position coach at Ohio State, Larry Johnson, went a step further.
Johnson, in a conference call April 25 with Detroit reporters, said Williams’ movement skills at 6 feet 3 and 334 pounds remind him of future first-ballot Hall-of-Famer Aaron Donald, a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year who played the position at nearly 50 pounds lighter.
The Toronto Maple Leafs hold a 3-0 series lead over the Ottawa Senators after their Game 3 first-round win on Thursday night. For the second straight game, the Leafs found the back of the net in overtime, and this time it came off the stick of defenseman Simon Benoit.
Before the game started, a situation occurred during warm-ups that has since escalated. Ottawa forward Nick Cousins skated by Toronto goalie Anthony Stolarz, who was getting loose in front of the penalty box.
Cousins intentionally shot a puck toward Stolarz.
