The Carolina Panthers closed up their 2025 NFL draft by dropping some news on one of their picks from the 2022 NFL draft.
After making their final selection in the sixth round of Saturday’s proceedings, president of football operations and general manager Dan Morgan announced that the team plans on exercising the fifth-year option on starting left tackle Ikem Ekwonu. Ekwonu was Carolina’s first-round pick, and sixth overall, from 2022.
“We are gonna pick up Ickey’s fifth-year option, just to kinda get that out of the way,” Morgan stated.

With their second compensatory pick in round six of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Raiders take North Dakota State QB Cam Miller. He goes at 215 overall, which was right in the range Miller was expected to go in this draft.

A four-year starter at North Dakota State, Miller was the point guard of former offensive coordinator Jake Landry’s run-heavy scheme (averaged just 21.9 pass attempts per game).

Marcus Bryant became the third Tiger to hear his name called at the NFL draft when the New England Patriots picked him with the fourth selection of the seventh round on Saturday. He was pick No. 220 overall.

Bryant spent the first four years of his college career at Southern Methodist University, playing 55 games and making 42 starts.

The 2025 NFL draft is nearing an end, but the Chicago Bears aren’t finished building their 90-man roster. The Bears will be looking to bring in some undrafted free agents that didn’t hear their name called during the draft.
General manager Ryan Poles will looking to bring in some additional talent to compete during training camp. The Bears have found some great undrafted free agents in the past, including defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris, linebacker Jack Sanborn and quarterback Tyson Bagent.

The Philadelphia Eagles selected Texas offensive tackle Cameron Williams with the No. 207 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, adding a massive and promising lineman to their roster.
Williams, who stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 317 pounds, started 16 games over three seasons with the Longhorns and was a 2024 Joe Moore Award finalist. Known for his imposing frame, long arms, and powerful grip, Williams excelled as a run blocker, helping Texas average over five yards per carry when running behind him.
