It’s not often that Nick Saban is the second-most-powerful man in the room. But last Thursday night in Tuscaloosa, the seven-time national championship-winning coach warmed up a crowd of graduating seniors at the University of Alabama for the President of the United States.
Since Bear Bryant is no longer with us, Donald Trump is literally the only person who could upstage — if only briefly — the G.O.A.T. in Alabama, and Saban acknowledged the pecking order, laughing that he felt like he was the opening act for the Rolling Stones.

As the college sports world continues to change by the day, we are now seeing more public pressure from those in charge to fix the current problems that have arisen over the last number of years. Now, President Donald Trump is looking to put together a group of leaders to help solve some of these issues.
We’ve seen college commissioners, athletic directors and coaches make their way to Washington over the past few years, lobbying for congress to get involved in this current era of NIL, which has led to multiple court cases, along with rules that are hard to interpret.

Curtis Luper has left his fingerprints all across Oklahoma.

It’s Friday, May 9, and the Cleveland Cavaliers (64-18) and Indiana Pacers (50-32) are all set to square off from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
The Pacers grabbed a Game 2 victory after erasing a 20-point deficit and a Tyrese Haliburton game-winner with 1.1 seconds remaining for a 120-119 win. Donovan Mitchell posted 48 points and 9 assists in a tiring all-out performance as Cleveland was without Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, and Deandre Hunter. All three players are questionable for Game 3.

Jacksonville’s jump sent the fifth overall pick, the 36th pick, the 126th pick and a 2026 first-rounder to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for the avenue to Hunter, the 104th pick and the 200th pick.
