DETROIT (AP) — Earlier this week, Cade Cunningham said he had learned more in four playoff games than he had picked up in the entire regular season.
Two games later, the lessons have only gotten tougher.
On Tuesday, the Pistons went into Madison Square Garden for Game 5 and kept their season alive with a 106-103 victory. It was Detroit’s second win in New York.

May 1—JAMESTOWN — Marissa Moltzen’s knee has been bothering her — but her team needed her on Thursday.
“She battled,” said Jamestown High School head softball coach Mike Soulis. “This was one of her better games. She had a nice defensive game and she’s got a good swing.”
The Jays needed Moltzen’s swing late in the game.
Trailing 7-5 to Minot North in game No. 2 of the doubleheader, Moltzen squared up and notched a two-run single to tie the affair at seven runs apiece.
