Just like it will for 66 other teams in the NCAA Tournament, Texas A&M’s season came to an end without the Aggies cutting down the nets in San Antonio. Only one team goes unbeaten and wins a national title. That’s how it works and how it’s always worked, but that doesn’t make the reality of losing any easier.
The Aggies fell to Michigan 91-79 in the second round of the tournament despite taking a four-point lead into halftime and controlling a large chunk of the contest.

Joson Sanon couldn’t pass up the opportunity to play for one of college basketball’s most prestigious coaches. The star freshman announced Wednesday he would leave ASU to play for Rick Pitino at St. John’s, per ESPN.
Sanon, a former top-25 recruit, said the opportunity to play for Pitino was what drew him to St. John’s.
“Coach Pitino believes in me and my potential and what he can do for me,” Sanon told ESPN.

Summary: Wolf is a 7-footer who ran point for Michigan, playing a slick style with risky passes and step-back jumpers that made him a highlight factory. But he’s also a turnover machine and his shooting numbers are shaky, making him more of a raw bet who needs time to prove he can match his flash with substance.

During the NCAA tournament’s opening weekend, five power conference teams punched their proverbial tickets to the Sweet 16 with wins over so-called “mid-majors.”
Top-seeded Florida survived a scare from two-time defending national champion UConn; Auburn outlasted Creighton; Arkansas upset St. John’s; Alabama cruised past Saint Mary’s; and Houston beat Gonzaga.
By most accounts, four of those five power league programs spent more on their rosters than their mid-major opponents, in some cases by as much as $2 million (the outlier is UConn).

Summary: Murray-Boyles operates like a defensive savant the way he locks down every position, uses his ninja-quick hands to swipe at the ball, and inhales rebounds. He’s a special defensive presence, and offensively he’s a bulldozer finisher with a playmaking feel. Improving his jumper would move him out of tweener territory and into All-Star status.
Arch Manning appears to be in the best shape of his life now that he’s QB1 for the Texas Longhorns.
Manning spent the last two seasons in a reserve role for the Longhorns behind starter and future NFL passer Quinn Ewers.
He played sparingly during his redshirt season but showed serious flashes in 2024. He finished the season with 939 passing yards, nine passing touchdowns, 108 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns.
The young phenom is the most interesting player in college football this upcoming season, and he appears ready to roll.
