ATLANTA (AP) — Braves star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. will have his injured left knee reevaluated next week as he works to return to the Atlanta lineup after ACL surgery last year.

Acuña has been taking live batting practice, but has not been cleared to do any start-and-stop running or cutting, Snitker said. The 27-year-old slugger has not run out of the batter’s box in his workouts.

BOSTON – It was another nightmare for the Boston Bruins.
Not only did they lose to the lowly Chicago Blackhawks 5-2 Thursday night at TD Garden, but it was also a few former Bruins who hammered the nail into Boston’s coffin. Ryan Donato registered his first 30-goal season, Nick Foligno scored twice and Tyler Bertuzzi added a goal en route to victory. Patrick Maroon was the only former Bruin not on the scoresheet for the Blackhawks.
“If we got (Maroon) in there we would have had the whole Bruin trifecta,” Foligno said with a laugh. “Yeah, it’s nice.

Ohio State has fielded some pretty competitive athletic teams over the last few years, and every once in a while, the men’s lacrosse team also gets into the fold. If you haven’t been paying attention, the Buckeyes are now 11-1 overall and 3-0 in the Big Ten.
OSU lost the first game of the season at Utah, but has now rattled off eleven straight wins, having notched victories over ranked teams like Johns Hopkins, Penn State, Notre Dame, and Rutgers. That body of work has Ohio State all the way up to No.

In Mike Norvell’s last two press conferences after non-scrimmage Florida State football practices, the message was quite similar.
He wasn’t seeing enough of an edge, enough consistent effort and execution, or enough desperate striving from his players to improve.
It sounds like the Seminoles heard his challenge and responded to it at Thursday’s practice.
“We did not lack intensity today. That was a good, good practice in a sense of guys coming out with purpose,” Norvell began Thursday’s press conference by saying.
