The league released its list of players who have been invited to attend the 2025 WNBA Draft in New York City.
With the WNBA Draft on Monday, the league has announced the 16 players who have been invited to attend the draft in person. These players will get to sit in the venue with their families while they wait for their names to be called by WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert. Inadvertently, this list also gives fans an inside look of who may be drafted in the early rounds of the draft.

This week, soccer’s governing announced an $11 million gift to each host city. Here’s who benefits.
FIFA, soccer’s world governing body recently announced its intent to distribute a total of $11 million, $1 million each to the 11 cities hosting this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office announced Friday that the Dallas Independent School District (“ISD”) has agreed to an order to ensure the district is not violating state law by allowing trans athletes to compete in girls’ sports.
The agreement comes after Paxton requested records from Dallas ISD in February following the release of a video that showed a school district official explaining loopholes to a parent and how they could get their biologically male child on a girls’ sports team via an altered birth certificate.
MONACO (AP) — Carlos Alcaraz won from behind against Arthur Fils while defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas was bundled out in the Monte Carlo Masters quarterfinals on Friday.
World No. 3 Alcaraz was five points from defeat in the second set, and 3-1 down in the deciding set, but pulled through 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 after 2 1/2 hours.
Fils, playing his third straight Masters quarterfinals, let off Alcaraz no thanks to 53 unforced errors.
“I have missed clay,” Alcaraz said.

Oregon has had a recent history of having some special receiver rooms and 2025 shouldn’t be any different. Quarterbacks Dante Moore and Austin Novosad, whoever wins the starting nod, will have many weapons to throw to this fall.
The top receiver in that room is expected to be senior Evan Stewart. The former Texas A&M transfer had a standout season in his first year in Eugene. He wound up with 48 catches, good for 613 yards and a career high five touchdowns. There’s no reason no to expect those numbers to take a jump with Stewart being the primary target now.
