In a year the NFL has decided to cut down on the number of players it invites to the NFL draft later this month, it is apparently expanding the list of invitees to borderline first-round propsect Jalen Milroe.
Milroe, who had a roller-coaster career at the University of Alabama, has reportedly accepted the league’s invitation to attend the April 24-26 draft, the Athletic reported. OutKick has been unable to confirm the report.

Miami and Atlanta were rained out yesterday after splitting the first two games of their series. Cal Quantrill and four Marlins’ relievers combines to shut out the Braves Saturday, 4-0.
The Mets swept their three-game series against Toronto. Sunday, they ended up on the right side of a 2-1 contest. Pete Alonso collected his eleventh RBI of the season in the win.

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia 76ers are in the midst of a miserable 2024-25 season as they look to just get to the finish line. They have battled a ton of injuries and a lot of adversity that was too much for them to handle.
One bright spot down the stretch of the season has been the play of deadline acquisition Quentin Grimes. Taking over the role of the No. 1 option, Grimes is averaging 22.3 points and 4.4 assists while shooting 39.5% from deep and 49% from the floor overall.
