MILWAUKEE (AP) — Giannis Antetokounmpo and most of the Milwaukee Bucks’ other top players will sit out Sunday afternoon’s regular-season finale with Detroit as both teams already are locked into their respective playoff positions.
The Bucks are seeded fifth and the Pistons sixth in the Eastern Conference standings. The Bucks will face Indiana in a rematch of a 2024 first-round series the Pacers won 4-2, while Detroit takes on the New York Knicks in the Pistons’ first playoff appearance since 2019.
Milwaukee clinched the No. 5 seed after winning 125-119 at Detroit on Friday.

MIAMI – Paddy Pimblett made a statement with his performance Saturday at UFC 314. He then made a callout, or a series of them, on the microphone.
Four names came to mind: Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, Charles Oliveira, and Arman Tsarukyan. One name was notedly missing, however.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced that winger Oliver Bjorkstrand will be out week-to-week due to a lower-body injury.
While speaking to reporters, including NHL.com’s Benjamin Pierce, Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said that he hopes Bjorkstrand will be able to return during the post-season. 
With the playoffs right around the corner, it is certainly concerning that Bjorkstrand is considered week-to-week. He is an important part of the Lightning’s forward group, and they will undoubtedly miss his offensive contributions when he is sidelined.

It’s never good when you have to cover tragic news, especially when it comes to a young person. On Sunday morning multiple sources are reporting that former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy was found dead in his home. Lacy was only 24 years old.
Lacy was working hard to prepare for the 2025 NFL draft despite serious felony charges hanging over his head. Lacy was accused of causing a crash that killed a 78-year-old man on Dec. 17 and then fleeing the scene. He was being charged with negligent homicide for the incident.
