Oscar Piastri’s win in the Bahrain Grand Prix made him the first repeat winner of the 2025 Formula 1 season.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Lamar Stevens scored a career-high 31 points, Marvin Bagley III had 25 points and 11 rebounds and the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Dallas Mavericks 132-97 on Sunday in the teams’ regular-season finale.
Both the Grizzles and Mavericks will play in the Western Conference play-in tournament. With both teams’ positions pretty well set, many of the starters sat out with soreness, injury recovery or rest.
That left Sunday’s game as a contest between bench players.
Cam Spencer scored 23 points and Jay Huff had 22 for Memphis.

HOUSTON (AP) — Michael Porter Jr. scored 19 points, Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokic added 18 each and the Denver Nuggets clinched the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference with a 126-111 win over the Houston Rockets on Sunday.
The victory gives the Nuggets homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs and puts them in the postseason for a seventh straight season.
The Nuggets were up by 13 at halftime and used a 10-2 run, with five points from Gordon, to make it 86-63 with about five minutes left in the third quarter.

LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell has emerged as the betting favorite to be the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
Campbell is now a -155 favoite to be taken with the fourth overall pick. The betting odds have Miami quarterback Cam Ward an overwhelming favorite to go first overall, Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter favored to go second, and Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter favored to go third.
The Patriots own the fourth overall pick and are looking to bolster the offensive line to protect last year’s first-round pick, quarterback Drake Maye.

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia 76ers ended a miserable and tumultuous 2024-25 season on Sunday with a 122-102 loss to the Chicago Bulls. The Sixers, expected to contend for a title after the big addition of Paul George, finished 24-58 on the season as they dealt with a ton of injuries and adversity.
The Sixers were unable to see what the trio of Joel Embiid, George, and Tyrese Maxey were able to do as they all dealt with injuries. Embiid played in only 19 games after dealing with a bothersome left knee issue and the three of them played only 18 games together, finishing 15 of them.

When DJ Lagway went down last year, walk-on quarterback Aidan Warner was thrown into the fire against Georgia and Texas. Things didn’t go the way he wanted, but Warner looks much improved after spending an entire spring with the program.
Warner threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns for the Blue team in Florida’s spring game on Saturday, winning the game behind standout performances from his running backs, Ja’Kobi Jackson (198 yards, 3 touchdowns) and Jadan Baugh (56 rushing yards, 48 receiving yards).

McLaren driver Oscar Piastri becomes the first repeat winner of the 2025 F1 season
The Japanese Grand Prix saw Max Verstappen spoil what looked to be a McLaren victory party as the Red Bull driver nipped pole position from Lando Norris and kept Norris and Oscar Piastri at bay throughout the race for his first win of the 2025 season.
Piastri made sure there would not be a repeat performance at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
