Alex Prince, who was first drafted by the Mercury in 2017, returns to the organization where it all began after a lengthy career overseas.
Alexis Prince was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury in the third round in 2017, after a successful collegiate career at Baylor University.
But, like most third-round picks in the WNBA, Prince wasn’t able to find a long-term home in the league. She appeared nearly half of the Mercury’s games in her rookie season, averaging 7.

Michael Bisping thinks UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones needs to make a decision about his fighting future.
After finishing Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 this past November, Jones (27-1 MMA, 21-1 UFC) struggled to get up for a title-unification bout with interim champ Tom Aspinall (15-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC), saying he needed “f*ck you” money to consider him over Alex Pereira.
But after Alex Pereira lost his light heavyweight title to Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313, Aspinall’s hopes of finally getting Jones fight may have increased.
Brooklyn Nets forward Trendon Watford lost his cool during Thursday’s contest against the Indiana Pacers. He also may have lost the game for his team as well. Watford was ejected late in the fourth quarter after shoving multiple Indiana Pacers players, including Myles Turner.
The incident occurred with just under five minutes to go in regulation. With the Pacers in catch-up mode, guard Bennedict Mathurin hit a shot to cut the team’s deficit to five points. As both teams were running back down the court, Watford shoved Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard.

McLaren driver Lando Norris arrived in Shanghai the favorite, but has some ground to make up in the F1 Sprint
Heading into Friday’s F1 Sprint qualifying session at the Chinese Grand Prix, Lando Norris was the favorite.
And with good reason.
Norris began the year with a strong performance in the Australian Grand Prix where he claimed pole position, won the race, and posted the fastest lap along the way.
It was the first midweek matchup of the year for Michigan State baseball, looking to use the midweek games to build the momentum needed for Big Ten play over the weekends.
The Spartans hosted the Oakland Golden Grizzlies during this week’s midweek matchup. Using a fast start, MSU was able to squash their two game losing streak, putting away their in-state opponent, 8-5. MSU improved to 14-6 on the year with the win.
Michigan State was led by Will Shannon and Randy Seymour, who both belted home runs in the game.
The first wave of NFL free agency is in the books, which featured some big signings and trades that will have implications this season.
