SHANGHAI (AP) — Lewis Hamilton denied there’s frustration with Ferrari race engineer Ricciardo Adami despite frequently shutting down unnecessary radio chatter between them at the Australian Grand Prix.
“Everyone overreacted,” Hamilton said on Thursday.
Hamilton had a miserable debut weekend for Ferrari in Melbourne last week after qualifying eighth and finishing 10th for the final point. That ended preseason testing hype that had the Scuderia as a potential McLaren challenger.
The 49ers have said goodbye to a number of players since the start of the league year and General Manager John Lynch said on Wednesday that it has been “terrible” to see those players depart, but he also offered some positive thoughts for fans worried that the team is preparing to take a step backward.
Lynch spoke to reporters at Stanford’s Pro Day and said that those fans should know “we have a plan” to restock the roster.

Bayern contract talks with Upamecano dragging on
A month ago, Sky Germany reported that Bayern Munich were on the verge of agreeing a contract extension with Dayot Upamecano.
However, an agreement has yet to be reached and Bild are now reporting that negotiations are nowhere near that stage, although both the player and the club are keen to continue working together.
According to the German tabloid, a “quick agreement” is not in sight, with the report claiming that the parties are still relatively far apart on salary.

The Concacaf Nations League semifinals are this week and the four final teams – the US, Canada, Mexico, and Panama – will be taking the field at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA to determine who will take home the championship title this year. Canada and Mexico’s semifinal will kick off at 10:30 p.m.
