Patrick Mahomes is apparently not of this Earth.
Earlier this week, on Monday to be precise, Mahomes wasn’t certain he’d be able to play against the Houston Texans on Saturday because of a high ankle sprain. The injury had him hobbling around the Kansas City training facility and on a schedule for full-time treatment.
Well, the injury got progressively better as documented by OutKick on Friday. But what he did in Saturday’s first series against the Texans was, well, freakish.
Mahomes, his ankles heavily taped, scrambled out of the pocket on a 12-yard run.
