It’s hard to believe but it has been almost three years since Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog has appeared in a professional hockey game.
In fact, the last time was during the Avs’ run to a Stanley Cup victory back in 2022, but since then, he has battled a serious knee injury that has kept him sidelined for years.

WASHINGTON — The Philadelphia 76ers made things official on Wednesday when they announced that All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey will miss the rest of the season. Maxey had not played since March 3 against the Portland Trail Blazers when he suffered a lower back sprain to add to his right finger sprain issue.
As time wore on, there was hope from coach Nick Nurse that Maxey would return. Even with the season going the way it is, Nurse was hoping that he would come back and play because there were still games left on the schedule.

Detroit Tigers manager A.J. Hinch did not express concern with one of the few players on the roster struggling in the first two weeks of the season.
Second baseman Colt Keith mishandled a ground ball that could have been a double play with two runners on and no outs in the ninth inning. The error loaded the bases, leading to a two-RBI single from Aaron Judge to push the lead to four runs.
The Tigers (7-5) answered with a rally in the last inning, but only pushed three runs across in the attempted comeback to drop the series finale with New York, 4-3.
