Mancini praises team’s reaction after conceding to Lazio
Roma defender Gianluca Mancini was interviewed by Roma TV in the aftermath of the recent 1-1 derby draw between the Giallorossi and Lazio.
“When you go down you have to have a reaction in every game,” said the Italian centreback.”

After claiming their sixth conference series of the season with a come-from-behind 11-6 win on Saturday, Iowa baseball (23-11, 14-4 Big Ten) was unable to complete the series sweep vs. Nebraska (16-20, 5-10) as the Cornhuskers would prevail 6-4 in Game 3 from Daune Bank Field on Sunday afternoon.
While the Hawkeyes finished with a slight 8-7 advantage in hits, the Cornhuskers were able to do more damage with their opportunities. Not helping Iowa was the fact that the Hawkeyes left 11 base-runners stranded throughout the game.

Apr. 13—VALLEY CITY, N.D. — The University of Jamestown softball team started quickly and it helped them get an 8-0 win over Valley City State University on Sunday, April 13, at the Vikings’ Softball Complex.
The Jimmies’ Kayla Quintanilla hit a two-run triple in the first to push the Jimmies in front 2-0. The score stayed that way until the third when the Jimmies tacked one more and they scored one in the fourth to take a 4-0 lead.

Apr. 13—OAKLAND CITY, In. — The University of Jamestown men’s volleyball team could not stop the bleeding in a five-set loss to Oakland City University (25-15, 25-18, 19-25, 23-25, 10-15) on Sunday, April 13, at the Mighty Oaks’ Johnson Center.
The Jimmies got off to a 10-4 lead in the first set and they were able to push it all the way out ot 2-11 drawing a Mighty Oaks timeout. The timeout did little to slow the Jimmies down as they were able to get the 25-15 first set win.
