In what seems to be a weekly occurrence, another professional athlete had his house broken into while playing an away game and now the FBI is getting involved.
Last night, Dallas Mavericks All-Star guard Luka Dončić was traveling with the team to Phoenix to play the Suns when his house was broken into and burglarized, his business manager told ESPN.
“No one was home at the time, and thankfully Luka and his family are safe,” Lara Beth Seager told the media outlet. “Luka has filed a police report, and an investigation is ongoing.

It’s been about a year since the Philadelphia Flyers dealt high-end prospect Cutter Gauthier to the Anaheim Ducks after it was revealed that the Boston College product had no interest in wearing orange and black… at least not the Flyers’ orange and black.
So, now, he’s eager to hit the ice against the team that drafted him. 
Meanwhile, Flyers bench boss John Tortorella really doesn’t seem to care about Saturday afternoon’s big off-ice sub-plot.

Isaiah Thomas, one of the best players in NBA history, revealed that he has been battling a serious health condition for some time.
The former Detroit Pistons point guard went on former NBA coach Mark Jackson “Come And Talk 2 Me” podcast, and discussed topics ranging from the state of the current NBA to his personal health. When the latter topic came up, he revealed that he has been suffering from Bell’s palsy, which makes your facial muscles droop.
“I’ve gotten a lot of love from people saying, ‘Well, Isiah’s sick. What is he going through?’” he said.

Apparently the nerds take fashion VERY seriously.
Grandmaster Chess champion Magnus Carlsen was disqualified from yesterday’s Blitz Chess Chapmionships due to refusing to change the jeans he was wearing.
The five-time world champion was given a $200 fine and also warned about the jeans before he decided to take matters into his own hands and quit the tournament, but not before he had some choice  words for the chess heads out there.
“It’s okay, they can enforce their rules,” he continued.
