On Sunday we reached the close of the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the United States of America were the winners of the games. A duel with China for much of the games over gold medals resulted in a tie, with both nations finishing with 40 — although the USA easily took home the tiebreaker with 44 silver and 42 bronze to China’s 27 and 24 respectively.

The guards stole the show at the competitive Under Armour Elite game on Saturday.
Some of the top high school and international men’s basketball recruits were in attendance this past weekend at the Under Armour Next Elite 24, looking to put together strong performances in front of a contingent of NBA scouts.
The three-day showcase began with a practice on Thursday and scrimmage on Friday, with the penultimate event being a televised game on Saturday, where the 24 players in attendance split into two teams and competed against each other in a tight contest.
Daley, who was a flag bearer for Great Britain, won silver in the synchronized dive in Paris, marking his fifth Olympic medal in his final Olympics.
