Two-time major champion Jon Rahm has withdrawn from the 124th U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 due to a foot injury.
Jon Rahm will not tee it up at the U.S. Open this week, despite his best efforts to try and play.
He made the announcement on his social media account, just hours after he disclosed during his pre-tournament press conference that he had concerns over his foot injury.
The Los Angeles Dodgers traveled to the Bronx for aseries with the New York Yankees last weekend, revisiting one of baseball’s longest and most important rivalries.
The three games had an inordinate amount of star power, with the Dodgers putting up Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Tyler Glasnow against Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, and new pitching star Luis Gil. Two big market teams, with stars up and down the lineup, with big crowds at an important situation.

Kansas City Chiefs player B.J. Thompson is out of the hospital, requiring surveillance at Kansas University Hospital since suffering cardiac arrest at the team’s facility.
The 25-year-old suffered cardiac arrest during a special teams meeting last Thursday. Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker first alerted medical personnel at the Chiefs facility of Thompson’s seizure and cardiac arrest. As reported by OutKick’s Armando Salguero, Thompson was “stable” just a day later.

Tiger Woods has not played in a U.S. Open since 2020, but thanks in part to his son Charlie, the 15-time major winner is ready for Pinehurst.
It’s been a while since Tiger Woods teed it up in a U.S. Open. It’s also been 19 years since he last competed at Pinehurst No. 2, where he finished runner-up to longshot winner Michael Campbell.
