The Utah Name TBDs will hit the ice in just a few months, and the typical preseason preparations are underway. This includes season ticket sales, and while there has been no shortage of people willing to throw down a deposit, fans aren’t exactly pumped about the number of seats that have obstructed views.
Season tickets will officially go on sale this week, with DeseretNews reporting that 34,000 season ticket deposits have been made since it was announced in April that the parts of the Arizona Coyotes hockey operations had been sold to Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith.

In a very cogent delivery, women’s basketball icon Nancy Lieberman declared that if she were Caitlin Clark, she would’ve punched Chicago’s Chennedy Carter after getting hip-checked by the Sky player last week.
Fiery but logical, Lieberman presented a solid response to the conversation about Clark and the WNBA players foaming at the mouth to get a shot in on the Fever phenom. Lieberman was firm about her stance, which some may argue could be a solid deterrent for players like Carter.

The usual suspects in the sports media continue to downplay Chennedy Carter’s cheap shot on Caitlin Clark during a matchup last Saturday. But we hadn’t yet seen anyone claim that Carter is the victim.
Then Jemele Hill weighed in.
Hill sympathized with Carter in an X post on Tuesday. She credited Carter for showing “resolve” during a loss against the New York Liberty. 
 “I’m guessing it’s been a rough couple days for Chennedy Carter, but she is showing some serious resolve,”Hil postedl.

Auburn Golf sensation Jackson Koivun earned an exemption into the Memorial Tournament after winning the Jack Nicklaus Award.
This week will mark his first PGA Tour start at a challenging Muirfield Village track against some of the best in the world. The 2023 Nicklaus Award winner and fellow standout Ludvig Åberg joined him for six holes on Tuesday leading up to the event.

FanDuel could soon have its name all over Major League Baseball broadcasts, according to several new reports.
The company, which started out as a daily fantasy sports site before branching out into sports betting, is nearing a deal to take over for Bally Sports as the named brand for the Diamond Sports Group regional television networks. Diamond infamously declared bankruptcy in 2023, leading to MLB taking over broadcasting duties for several of its teams.
